   Terrible experience First of all, the communication was fantastic until they received money. Then all communication ceased, every time we called they didn’t answer. The worst part was when we were moving into our first home. We received our exchange of contact date and that was the day we were supposed to move in. That morning (9AM) we went to the solicitors to sign contracts and sent the relevant payments and then went to meet the estate agent. We then heard NOTHING for the rest of the day. We had all of our belongings packed but couldn’t move in as they had not sent our money to the estate agent. We waited until 5:30 then began to panic call with no answer. They called the estate agent saying they hadn’t done the land registry. So the entire day that we were supposed to move in they were stalling as they forgot to do the land registry. We lost the day and had to move in the following day, meaning we lost our annual leave even though we didn’t move in. AVOID AT ALL COST.

   Used the company for a divorce case. I was not overly impressed with the outcome. Everyone was nice enough to deal with but the tactics and advice did not result in anything approaching a fair outcome and we got outplayed and outfoxed at almost every stage by the other lawyers. It also turned out to be eye wateringly expensive given the outcome and work done.

   We have used Gardner Leader on multiple occasions now, for both purchasing of property and for remortgaging. On both occasions, the service has been absolutely fantastic. The team we dealt with (Newbury branch) have always been very quick to respond to messages/queries and are professional and informative. I have found the services we used very good value for money. It was evident lot of care went into our case each time. A special thanks to Emma (Newbury branch) - who managed our case on both occasions and was the reason we went back to Gardner Leader.    I've been here three times now over the past three years as they've helped witness the statutory declarations for my constant reapplications for a Gender Recognition Certificate. Anyone who's been through the process or knows someone who has will tell you, it's like something out of Franz Kafka's "The Trial". Constantly going round in circles for months and months before being sent back to the back of the queue for a minor technicality (or if the panel just decide to "lose your paperwork"). But I'm determined to keep trying until I finally get the legal recognition I'd be easily granted in any other "civilised" country. In sharp contrast to my experience with the Gender Recognition Panel, the people here are always helpful, cheerful, and friendly. Nowhere near the intimidating bureaucrats to whom I always have to send the statutory declarations! I always feel safe here, welcomed, and treated with respect and dignity. Also, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and today they were able to offer me an appointment on the very day I called through to book one. Amazing! Thank you so much for all the lovely people who've helped me over the last few years. Hopefully I'll never have to see you again, but I'm sure that I probably will.
