First time I used pharmacy, shop opens at 9am but had to wait 20 mins in queue causing me to be late for a hospital appointment, also was told at the counter that my prescription wasn’t there yet so I had to go later then later we got my prescription I ended up with 6 boxes of warfarin at 1mg instead of 3mg warfarin and didn’t get a repeat prescription with my prescription so I’m not impressed

Needed to return nan's meds after she passed... was met with a total lack of empathy to the point of being rude from all of the staff, including the Pharmacist.. I was trying to do the right thing rather than just pit them in the bin... left feeling worse than wheni went in

Fantastic service, very responsive and helpful both over the phone and in person. Other pharmacies in the area were out of stock for the medication and didn't make any effort to see if they could obtain it, but Amber went above and beyond to phone the suppliers and get it for me with 24 hours.

Delighted and amazed to be able to write this. Barton's pharmacy has over the last few years become a village joke about how terrible it is. So when I was referred by the GP for a consultation my expectations were low..... And utterly wrong! Prompt, polite and professional service. Initially over the phone with an immediate telephone consultation. Then in store for a face to face consultation, prescription being issued and filled. I also noticed similar service to those who were in-store in the (very brief) period I was waiting. Plus the store was clean, well stocked and no longer looking like it was due toclose any second. What a fantastic turn around. To the pharmacist and assistant on duty, bravo. Everything you would want from a village pharmacy.

Going to this pharmacy is like a joke. The staff are different each time I visit and therefore they are inconsistent. Just when I think things are going well the staff change. For the past 5 years I have collected my repeat prescription monthly. About 95% of each visit there is either something missing or the incorrect medical is given to me. The latest recruit at the pharmacy said it's the robots fault. I travel a 10 mile trip each visit and normally they say can you come back tomorrow when something is missing. A man in front of me in the queue had similar issues and the member of staff said to him" if you don't like it go somewhere else" she was very rude and the gentleman who was in his late 70s didnt know what to do. I sometimes get a message saying prescription is ready to collect and I arrive and its closed, on the website it says open. I called today (Thursday) at 12.30pm and there was a note above the door closed from 1pm to 2pm due to staff shortages yet it was closed at 12.30pm, another 10 mile trip wasted. Worst service ever. What it requires is a good manager that can get to grips with it and organise the business then stay with it. I'm leaving it's less than 1 star .

Without doubt the worst pharmacy I have ever had the misfortune to use. Their incompetence seemingly has no bounds, it would be funny if they weren't responsible for dispensing life saving medicines. I will never cross their threshold ever again. One star is far too generous.

Called 5 times prior to going in the shop, no one answered any calls. Got in shop queue at 5.15pm they locked the doors at 5.20pm but don’t close until 6pm ? Got served at 5.50pm and told they didn’t have it in stock. Clearly understaffed and unorganised. Someone answering the phone would possibly mean less people in shop. Staff need help and organisation!!

Been trying to talk on the phone ..no answer for 3 days. Don't want to hang around in shop only to be told my prescription isn't ready (ordered 10 days ago). This Pharmacist should do us all a favour and leave. The current owner gets first prize in the "Worst Business Owner of the Year Award". Going to change to Morrisons in Burton so should you if you possibly can.

12/10/22 1530hrs. Attended Well Pharmacy Burton Under Needwood today to collect some non prescription medication that the GP asked my wife to take. Waited in a que of four while one lady ran about dealing with customers and observed the pharmacist trying his best not to care and be invisible. Was quite amusing to see that every time the lady serving was about to finish the pharmacist awoke from his slumber and asked ‘Whose next’ to then promptly hand that customer to the overworked lady behind the counter. This occurred several times and when it was my turn I asked for some medication where he directed me to the front of the shop, when I had turned a round with item in my hand I was now at the rear of the que and he had disappeared back to his spot trying to look invisible again. Thank fully the chap (who was behind me) motioned me forward as I passed him I said to him ‘shocking service’. Clearly the pharmacists hearing is far superior to his interpersonal skills, he said ‘what did you say’ so I repeated it, his reply, ‘If you don't like it you can go somewhere else’. I thanked the lady that served me, and thanked the pharmacist informing him he was very rude. Incidentally this is the same chap that arrives about 15-20 minutes after opening time, I was witness to this and him being rude to other customers waiting, he reasoning was ‘ I live quite far away, if I leave before traffic I will arrive half hour early, and I am not doing that, So I arrive at this time. Clearly management doesn't give two hoots about their customers. I may return again for the comedy value and to see how badly the pharmacist treats their customers.
