   I didnt realise this shop was in Salisbury, but found it whilst looking for trainers. They have a good selection of decent trqinera for running, and other running kit. As well as being well stocked of other outsidey stuff. Will go back from a proper browse. Friendly staff.

   Gentlemen’s review agreed to that if I couldn’t get my parcel the next day on next day delivery that they would refund me and when said parcel arrived they would send it back in their own time! So it surely didn’t come next day and they refused to refund as promised now apparently changing the conversation we had originally to what they needed to legally deny refundiment, so I agreed to wait til the next day and surely enough Evri had now lost the parcel altogether! Which was met with just a cold “we are not going to refund you!” Even though they new they were chewing into my travel cash since I explained the situation quite clearly, now I’ve been waiting for six days and they have had me arrested as things got heated in store and decided that their incompetence was fine but my getting somewhat flustered shall ban me from all Cotswold outdoors nation wide so I can’t even collect it in a store. Most recently I’ve told them to deliver to a dhl point to collect since I explicitly said I didn’t have photo ID to collect from in store, and they have deliberately sent it to a collection point that explicitly requires photo ID!!!! So this is the £288 pound sleeping bag that has so far cost me about a week in time and an extra £400 in costs lingering about trying to get it, the annoying thing is it was cheaper everywhere else by a good £60 and I conceded Cotswold Outdoors only because they had a physical store, what a sham of a company, I certainly won’t use them again since they have eyes only for cash and to hell with customer service!!!

   I had a gait analysis with Lily yesterday. She was so kind and helpful, taking the time to explain everything to me and even gave me advice on other things such as strength training/gels etc which was really useful. She didn’t make me feel rushed or push me into buying anything and I’m so happy with my new trainers, I can already notice a difference when running! Also I’m not sure what his name was but the sales assistant at the till was really kind too. Thank you so much!!!

   Had a gait analysis with Fred today, he was really knowledgeable and honest about the pros and cons of everything which I really appreciated. I have ordered the shoes he recommended and excited to try them out! He was also super helpful with other information around running such as training plans, fuelling and places to run. Will definitely be back for any future advice!

   Had a great experience in store with gait analysis. Fred (? I might have that wrong sorry) was extremely helpful and was a fountain of knowledge regarding the differnt brands/ styles along with the strengths and weaknesses of all. Very enjoyable and helpful experience. Would definitely return to the store for guidance

   Everything you would need for any expedision. The staff very cheerful and helpful. At the moment they're doing a refit, so things are a little chaotic, but the staff again shine through and source what you need. Excellent service. The re-fit is done, and the shop has a slightly different layout now, but the staff and what they hold are still top draw.

   I attended with my daughter to get her DOE gear. The young man that, had to be pulled from the back room to speak to us clearly did not want to be there. Any questions about footwear or suitability of clothing or food were meet with the eye roll and monosyllabic answers, it was truly a frustrating and very difficult experience. If we had not been so time pressured I would have gone elsewhere. To cap it all, I questioned him at the counter when paying, that as a DOE customer didn't we qualify for a discount? He suddenly remembered that we did but said "do you want it then or not" ! Customer service or sharing of expert knowledge is clearly not a priority.

   I’m happy to recommend this place for anyone who is interested in the outdoors. High quality products of all the well known brands and good service from knowledgable staff. Located close to “The Square” it’s on two floors and, currently undergoing refurbishment. Prices are reasonable but expect to pay more for the best money can buy.
