   After 2 positive discussions last week during booking a health check & dropping my bike off with specific upgrade requirements, I went & paid for the agreed groupset today, as instructed. I didn’t get the said phone call & it was getting very close to closing time, so I turned up anyway, in case the phone call was forgotten. The health check hadn’t even been carried out & I was told they couldn’t tell me what groupset I needed until they had done the healthcheck. I was also told the groupset that was to be ordered “wasn’t a thing anymore”. I took my bike back & got a refund for the health check. No notes were taken (which I queried on Friday when I dropped off) & I was told today that no information was forwarded. Poor communication between staff & poor excuses when challenged as to why nothing was done.

   Very very poor service spans from buying the bike to collecting the bike to after sales , what a shame with such a well known company, will never buy from them again just to let you know Halfords are so much better than you.

   Would highly recommend. Very grateful to Jake after some issues with a new Cannondale ebike.Although Jake was able to resolve the issues one of them kept returning again and again. As he appreciated reliability is key he offered an exchange and we now have a new Whyte ebike and so far no issues at all, which we're sure will continue. Thanks again Jake you've been brilliant.

   Jake and Jack were absolute legends today. I have recently just gotten back into mountain biking and ran into a technical issue that I didn’t understand how to resolve as cycling technology has boomed over the last 10 years. The pair of them managed to assist me in getting the issue resolved along with explaining to me how the issue occurred in the first place so that I don’t repeat the same mistake.

   Very friendly and professional staff. Helped me pock a good gt aggressor bike and also assisted in getting the sit to my right height. The lady gave me tips on bicycle riding. Wide ranges of bicycles and accessories. Lovely place.

   Great big shinny new Evans bike store, kind of disappointed there was not a single full suspension mountain bike on site, considering its sat between Cannock Chase, Hicks Lodge and the Peak District. Only good for road bikes and a few cyclo-cross bikes.

The repair job I needed doing went from bad to worse at every stage of the repair but they have done everything for me and more. I can't thank them enough.
