“Have always had good service here right from when they opened many years ago. The shop now is a lot quieter than it used to be but still get good friendly service. Also a couple of the older members of staff often provide good advice and product knowledge and are happy to share tips on when certain products may be reduced in price. It'll be sad when this place goes (its rumoured to be moving into Sainsbury's...) So make the most of it in its present form whilst you can...”

“Went to get my wedding dress today and found it almost straight away - the staff there were lovely and helpful, especially Hollie as she helped me with fittings. Lots of choices and sizes to look through, and the prices are very decent - highly recommend!”

“Good offers in ASDA. Love the hot rotisserie section. The bacon joints and hot chickens are the best. The fact this store has a post office in also is great as its even open on a Sunday with the main store, great for the customers, maybe not so good for the staff. Love the ramadan and world food range in Asda, seem to have a few more items than other stores.”

“I went for a gait analysis today and was very happy with the service. I was served by Mary who is very knowledgeable and gave plenty of good advice on what shoes would be best for me as I’m training for my first half marathon and have not ran further than 10km before. The gait analysis results were explained clearly and I was able to try on a variety of different shoes and felt I could take my time and there was no pressure to buy and I settled on a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS. I was also given advice on nutrition and how to keep my energy levels up during longer distance runs with energy gels/bars so also got a sample pack of some flapjacks and will return to get some bars or gels during my training and for race day! Running Form is a lovely small business, and it’s clear those working there are knowledgeable about all things running! I’d recommend paying them a visit whether you’re just starting out with running or have completed multiple ultras!”

“The salon/spa is a little hidden gem in burton. Just on the outskirts of the town centre can be hard to spot. I love going here for some pampering. I’ve had many different treatments here brows, make up, manicure, pedicure. All have been excellent. Prices are also reasonable. Today I wanted to reviewed as I have come away so pleased with my nails. I am going to a ball with a gatsby theme. I asked them to do something to match the theme. Was no trouble and I love the creation they came up with. Classy and elegant. Would always recommend and the staff are all so lovely and welcoming. Thank you”

“Great shopping experience today, not been in for ages but the clothing is gorgeous for autumn, lovely short jumpers, really well fitting boot leg jeans and joggers, comfy and warm short jackets. Underwear also good as it always has been. I've never bought so much there's so much autumn choice and most items I got were under £16. Could have done with more variety in the boots , not everyone wants UGG style. Also the sizes are a bit mad, I'm about a size 10 to 12 but everything I bought was extra small and the jeans were 8 so size down if you go. Shout out to the ladies in the changing room who were superb, nothing was too much trouble. Great staff throughout the store and quicker service than elsewhere , River Island take note.”

“I think that most people know of Matalan and this is a nicely spaced store with a good range of very reasonably priced clothing for all the family. The children's range is very useful as we know how quickly they grow out of clothes before they have had their wear out of them! There is a range of household goods too. The staff are friendly and helpful. In addition there is free parking here for four hours if you want to visit the town centre on your trip !”
