Went in for a measuring with my daughter, was served by a lovely girl named Freya, she fitted her shoes and was incredible patient and kind.
Paid £90 for a pair of shoes. After very little wear the sole on one of them is coming unstuck. Took them back. Unfortunately I didn't have my receipt. Spoke to someone who called herself the assistant manager. Her attitude was worse than the quality of the shoes. She was dismissive and rude. I felt that she disbelived that I'd even bought the shoes there even though the Clarks logo was clearly visible. No apologies no offer to help she just walked away and carried on chatting with a colleague, clearly didn't care one bit. Not one shred of customer service. Do not pay a lot of money for Clarks shoes thinking you ate getting quality... you're not. Would never go back there again anyway due to rudeness of the staff.
The staff were friendly and tried their best to help, but I found the range of footwear to be extremely limited. It's a relatively small store, but even so, I think their range could be better/more varied within the space available. Great customer service though.

Yes Clarks does may cost you a little more but you pay for what you get. You always get quality from this shop. Staff are very helpful in making sure you have the three right for and what you need to look after your new shoes. Nearest car park would be any of three, those being. The market place, coopers square or the Octagon
Liked the shoes,found some that were a great fit and would of had them if thy weren't a different shade of brown to each other,even though they were a pair!!
Disappointed as I tried to return a pair of expensive work shoes that fell apart after 2 months, according to the Clarks return policy: any faulty item can be returned within six months of purchase for a full refund or exchange. The staff member refused to honour this, merely offering an exchange as I had an email from customer service with the details of my order on. I now have an expensive pair of shoes that I won't be wearing for work
