So I went shopping this morning at Asda burton-upon-trent. When I came out to my car there were two men what look like to be valeting a vehicle on the car park by my vehicle. Took no notice at first but then saw the two men messing around with a jet wash and foam. Which happend to go all over my vehicle. They were like kids in a sweet shop The van had ACV valeting all over it so i take it thats there company name.? Then there was an awful noise which comeing from what looked to be a Genarater with smoke ect . I didn't think that this was alowed on car parks ? Unless owned by your self but I didn't expect to come shopping to end up with my car to get coverd in foam & dirty water . No happy with this at all.

Good offers in ASDA. Love the hot rotisserie section. The bacon joints and hot chickens are the best. The fact this store has a post office in also is great as its even open on a Sunday with the main store, great for the customers, maybe not so good for the staff. Love the ramadan and world food range in Asda, seem to have a few more items than other stores.

One day, the pharmacist told us that they didn’t have all the medicines in stock, but assured us it wasn’t a problem and that she would order them for the next day. The following day, it turned out they had forgotten to order the medicines. We only received part of them. At home, we discovered (we were given a sealed bag) that one of the medicines was missing – we were supposed to get three, but had only received two, even though we paid for all three. We went back to the pharmacy, and the staff seemed surprised. Not only had they forgotten to pack all the medicines, but one of them was not even the correct one. The pharmacy was chaotic and disorganized. We do not recommend it.

Asda has officially hit rock bottom. Walked in today and not a single manned checkout open — just rows of those useless self-service machines. I don’t work here, so why am I being forced to scan, bag, and fight with error messages like I’m on your payroll? If this is what shopping has become, chuck me a lanyard and stick me on the rota for the staff Christmas party. To make matters worse, the rude bloke hovering around these self-service “jokes” actually told me I either had to leave or scan everything myself. Excuse me? That’s your idea of customer service? I came to shop, not to do your staff’s job for free. It’s not just lazy, it’s insulting. Customers are treated like unpaid labour while staff stand about “managing” machines instead of opening a single checkout. If I wanted to do all the graft, I’d just order online and skip the whole circus. This store used to be decent, but now it’s an absolute embarrassment. I won’t be wasting another penny in this joke of a place Plenty of other supermarkets still remember how to treat people like actual customers instead of a nuisance.

Absolutely awful service, first time for home delivery with Asda normally Tesco, thought we would give them a try waited till 10pm no delivery, contacted store couldn't understand the person on the line but stated couldn't get hold of the driver and suggested to cancel the order as the driver doesn't have a mobile, talk about customer service absolutely non,in this day and age can't even get a simple delivery right. Other supermarket's take your phone number incase they can't find you,so now complete shopping list for £180 has to be refunded, this must be the worse service we have ever received. As per your reply our order number is as follows. 5782360000665 Update 18th Jan Still no refund, and a reply from the Supermarket, did we expect a reply Well not really, but what is annoying is that our funds have still not been refunded, very quick to remove from our account most other supermarket's take the payment out on delivery or day after just in case of any problems, absolutely appalling way to treat a customer. ..................Tasha................. It would be an idea that you contact the store direct as they have our details email etc from the order,we cannot find a communication on Facebook there seems to be a few so do we randomly pick one or are you going to provide a link. Eventually a refund has been processed,no communication from the store, well there's a surprise. Ended up ordering from Tesco same amount of items and the bonus of having a club card made shopping cheaper. Also Congratulations to them as they found our address and kept us updated with a very polite happy delivery driver who was on time as promised.

pretty good and a semi-decent George clothing range. At times the queues get really long so I tend to shop using the self scan app.

It's a lovely place to do shopping but they don't sell single bottle 0.5 L still water except at the exit ( next to Customer Service ) where the sandwiches are.

The store has a decent range of George clothing and homeware, along with what you would expect from a supermarket. There are only a few staffed tills, the majority are self-scan or using the scanner as you shop. This makes it faffy if you want to get the free parking, as you face a long queue at a manned till, or possibly have to queue at customer services. When I visited today (Saturday morning, 10.30am, early october) the parking payment machines outside the store were out of action - one officially, and the other had a coin jammed into the card reader slot, so I couldn't pay by card. I had to walk over to the payment machines in the Octagon centre to be able to pay for my parking - not a disaster but inconvenient.
