   I had booked online. And when you book online you have to pay. Which is not a problem, but when you walk in and say you have booked an appointment online. Noone checks this. So when the treatment was done, which i must add, was a perfect treatment compared to the last place I went to. The guy that had done the treatment told me it was all done, and walked over to someone seated to do their nails. So I got my bits together, said thank you very much and went to walk out, only to be quite loudly, in front of about 6 other customers, "have you paid" i replied yes as I booked online. "How much did you pay" £38 do you want me to show you? From the other side of the shop a woman doing someone's nails, looked at her phone and said "name?" I told her my name she scrolled for a little bit and said "ok" I left feeling like I was a thief and I was in the wrong. So the customer service is something that needs working on and maybe have a proper booking system going so as one walks in they can tick you off and know whether you have paid or not without loudly advertising to whole shop asking whether you have paid or not.

   I’ve been getting my mani/pedi from Cookham Nail Bar since 2021. They used to provide great service. Unfortunately, my last three experiences here have been unpleasant, with the last one being terrible. My gel polish always comes off within a few days, the end result isn’t picture worthy and they have a high staff turnover. During my last appointment the staff did my pedicure in a bizarre way and, finished one foot (had 3 seconds soaking time-leaving poor quality work), and then moved onto the next foot. My gel polish looks patchy, it’s already coming off (2days after), and there is a white line at the tip as the nails were filed incorrectly. I don't see myself coming back here.

   Have had 2 really bad experiences here and I won’t be going back now. I was made to feel really uncomfortable by one of the male technicians the first time so I didn’t go back for a long time. I tried to give them another chance but my second experience was just as bad. There was nail dust all over the seat and tray was dirty. It looked like a 5 year old cut and painted my nails and the whole process wasn’t done properly so I had to get someone else to redo and fix them. Pretty upset. Still had to pay full price and no discount offered considering the inconvenience.

   Fit me in straight away. Very nice and let me know what he was doing each step, such as the length, when he was going to clip my natural nail, what shape. I got a French tip and it’s absolutely perfect.

   Awful experience was booked in for 3 nail appointments at 4 pm . Over 2 and half hours we waited . 2 of my daughters were started on then was Les left for 15 mins still here after 3 hours still not finished. No one apologised no one offered a drink . Awful service Infact there was NO service appalling !!! Never ever going back

   I had SNS and tips. I got fungal nail infection. I think from dipping my nails into a pot used by God knows how many other nails. I do not recommend.

   Had acrylics fitted, filled and also removed and manicure. Great job and finish on nails - very happy with the service provided. Also the staff are all so polite and attentive as well as doing a good job. Well priced too.

   I’ve been here twice and they’re now my go to for nails. I get acrylics and they’re the most natural looking, on top of how well they bring my design ideas to life. 100% recommend. They’re such lovely, talkative people and I always feel welcome which isn’t so common in a lot of salons.
