I have worked with African activities for two different events now hosting workshops at two university campus’s. An amazing team, incredibly generous and so pationate about the work they do. They provided an authentic experience, worked within our budget and were incredibly patient with us. I would hire them again and again and again!

I booked a day of drumming activities for our school's international day. Right from the beginning communication was brilliant -amd nothing was too much effort. On the day Kwame arrived and set up the room with the drums and other instruments and materials etc - it looked amazing. The sessions were fantastic and all students ( and staff !)were telling everyone how much they had enjoyed the sessions. Kwame then led a session with a few of our students in our end of day assembly - this rounded the day of perfectly. We will definitely be booking again - thank you so much for a fabulous service!

The Year 6's at our school had a brilliant day with Kwame! They took part in art, drumming and dance sessions. Every child went home beaming and excited to tell their parents about the activities they did.

Absolutely fabulous experience! We were totally immersed in African Adinkra printing, dance and the sound of 61 djembe drums resonated around the school. Thank you Kwame, Lotte and the African Activities team; it surpassed all our expectations. We are excited to be making a permanent display of the Adinkra printed cloths in our school hall all sewn together into a 'patchwork of unity' and are looking forward to welcoming you again next year to learn different things about your heritage. Photos to follow. THANK YOU!

We really enjoyed our day, the workshops were amazing - all the children were eager to get involved and their creations were great! Kwame was brilliant with the children, really engaging and accommodating. They loved having a go on the drums and being shown different ways to turn their bottle into fantastic creations. Kwame even helped to clean up too which was very much appreciated! We would definitely recommend you to other schools!

We booked a whole day of experiences for our small rural school to enrich our curriculum. Kwame was excellent at engaging all the children from nursery to year 6. We were able to do art, drumming, dancing and have time for a story. The activities were fun, exciting engaging and educational as well as pitched just at the right level for each class. Lotte, Janet and the team were so helpful in organising our timetable to ensure we got the most out of our day. It was certainly a day the children and staff will remember. Thank you African Activities!

We had two days of African Activities as part of our Year of Diversity. Kwame fully engaged the children who were enthralled with his stories of his homeland, the african dancing, the drumming and the adinkra printing. A superb experience that we can highly recommend to any educational environment.
