Knowledgeable, helpful and really impressive prices for the quality of cover. Insured one car following a recommendation from a previous owner and found Howden to be really impressive. They now cover two cars and I will be adding the wife's when the time comes.

Very impressed with Howden Insurance and especially Adam Wheeler. We had lots of very specific requirements and questions for our self-build campervan insurance policy, Adam was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful through the entire process. It came back as the best price that we had been quoted all day, along with being the best service to match. 10/10 we will use them again for further vehicles I am sure.
Was having difficulty getting an acceptable price on car insurance. Been a company car driver for over 4 decades so no insurance in my name and despite having letters from previous employers confirming no accidents whist in their employment (I had use of company car for private use). Swinton Insurance, who insure my wife's car as the main user but I'm a named driver and have been for close to 40 years didn't take this into account, nor the fact I had never made a claim as a named driver. Andrew Francis at Howdens listened to my tale of woe and provided an acceptable quote. Hopefully nest year with one years no claims I can look forward to some discount!

I have been with A Plan for years for my modified vehicles. It’s usually a pain for someone in their mid twenties to sort decent insurance out, but A Plan have gone above and beyond every time. Dealt with Michael Luff today, to change some details. Lovely guy, couldn’t help me enough! Called me back straight away when disconnected, all the staff are polite and helpful. I’d never go elsewhere!

Hands down the best insurance company I’ve ever come across. In the 10+ years I’ve been driving I’ve never felt so comfortable with an insurer who go above an beyond to get you the best deal possible. Calling up is just like talking to a mate they’re so friendly and don’t put you on edge like other insurers. Calum at Thatcham is a top lad and will always get my custom even when others have been slightly cheaper I’ve stayed with A plan solely because of their customer service and ease of use.
