   Please be aware of impacting your credit score if you take out a policy on finance with this company, have been with these the past 5 years and rang to say they were cheaper on their website than my renewal off them, after a faf on of saying I would have to send screenshots of the new policy i said just cancel the renewal and I’ll take out the new policy. Now this was all well purchased policy via finance for £14 ish a month as it’s just for tool insurance and then had an email from Experian claiming a hard search has been added to my account, A HARD CREDIT SEARCH FOR £148.96! So please be aware that your probably better off looking elsewhere as once this year is over this will be my last year of 6 years with this company as I think this is an absolute joke negatively affecting my excellent credit score for the sake of £148.96

   Don't do business here, renewal for transit was £2000, got broker to quote and broker reduced price by 50% Now cancelled a second policy mid term and they charge £50 penalty for cancellation. Scammers !

   Only Interested in making commision from your policy Been using this company approching 5 years, previously never had any issues. Today receieved my renewal notification and my PL and EL insurance policy has increased by £743.32 from last yaer rising to £1935.25 equating to a 62.4% increase. Phone them to ask why and how this is justified and they said there is nothing they can do due to the main insurer making the increase. when I quested what there role was in the transaction as a broker they still insisted it was out of their hands. Surely this it is their job as brokers to negotiate betters deals for their clients. Whilst I am aware there was a claim made on the policy in Decemeber 23 I still can not see how they can justify 62.4% increase. In all the years I had the policy I never had or requested a reduction in my premiums or expected a reduction. This company is clearly just a middle man commisison based company, do not expect them to find you a good deal or negotiate a good deal for you.

As my van insurance was coming up for renewal I thought it would be good to keep it all with one company, Leigh in vehicle insurance was very helpful and friendly and is a credit to your company.

   I own a scaffold company and last year had a claim (dropped a 21ft tube onto a astra) the issue was resolved however my liability insurance went up considerably (more than the damage inflicted) Patrick Kelliher helped me out hugely and has drastically reduced my overheads by giving me a great insurance deal, allowing me too allocate the funds elsewhere.    Got cover with this firm as it seemed like they specialised in tool theft. my tools were stolen over a week ago and i have not received any correspondence, just palmed off every time i try and get through. Finally got a confirmation email asking for the details and Phoned them to follow up my reply and they responded by telling me it takes at least 5 days for a reply. That will make it over 2 weeks with no tools and no work. They have no empathy of the urgency of my situation. Terrible service UPDATE I had a phone call about 20 minutes of posting this from Zurich saying that trade direct had instructed them to sort my case out urgently. After half an hour of email exchanges, my case was agreed and settled (not paid yet). Yes, it is Zurich who sort the claims, but it is proven that the cases are in fact settled quickly if they really want to settle them. I find it very hard to believe that all this week they couldn't do anything, then all of a sudden it was sorted with matter of urgency. I will be seeking advice for unnecessary loss of earnings, because clearly they could have sorted this sooner. Let alone the fact theh have caused a significant amount of unnecessary stress, during an already difficult time. LIGHTENING STRUCK TWICE - Unfortunately my tools have been stolen again. Trade direct have directed me to zurich who made me do an online claim, telling me they'll be in touch the next day. 2 days on and I had to chase up and then be told that the claims don't even register on their system in a couple of days anyway. This is tool insurance, my livelihood has been taken away again and they can't process anything for 2/3 days. I should have learned my lesson the last time and renewed with someone else. Shall be seeking legal advice
