My experience with Heldon has been absolutely terrible. I contact them snout a leak outside of my house, straight away they said I was not covered. We got the repair done contacted our insurance company, they said to send a report in about work carried out. They have paid for the repair and the money is going into our account in the next few days. Why did I bother with a broker!!! Same with a claim in our car….. we have done all the work. What a waste of time this company has been fir us.
I understand Howdens are still insuring NEW FOSSIL FUEL PROJECTS. I am sure the people of Valencia, and those in the many other flooded places around the world will be really pleased about that! And also the starving of various African countries, who have had NO RAIN since they planted their seeds, and now therefore have NO FOOD. Come on Howdens - do the right thing, as Zurich did last year. Thank you!
I live in Bristol and have used A-plan Insurance for many years and they are always excellent. Tried to book travel insurance today so I had to go to A-plan Insurance based in Farnham, Surrey, as Bristol do not cover this type of insurance. I can honestly say that I tried phoning at 9.00 am this morning and again at 4.00 pm this afternnon. Each time I am told that there is no one to phone me back until tomorrow. This is just a terrible service for customers trying to get a quote from them and most will go to another provider. If I owned this business I would be very cross with the staff at this location, surely they have enough staff to take calls from potential customers for travel insurance.
My wife and I have used Aplan for insurance, including travel, for many years. We have recently dealt with Sonia dunsdon and found her extremely helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. A true credit to Aplan!
Waited 11 days for them to call me back and nothing I had to call them in the end. Rude staff that hang up. The quote we finally got was well over twice what we have now got with direct line. Wouldn’t use again.

I was passed onto this branch by my local A Plan for travel insurance. Applying for visas it had to be very specific and Dylan was brilliant understanding everything I had to get in the policy. We are now covered for our trip and the visa application was accepted. Thank you!
