   Unbelievable I've spent 3 weeks trying to phone and email today I pressed chat sent message got a reply USUALLY REPLIES IN AN HOUR so got on with my own stuff when I got back am back to sent a message to phone it rings plays a little tune and cuts off when I clicked on the link via text unavailable don't think these people want the money they're hassling me for if they're that desperate they can keep premiums paid and they can stick their policy BE CAREFUL PEOPLE I DON'T PERSONALLY RECOMMEND

   Bad experience, application been in for some time (I have been on holiday and in hospital) e mailed Stuart Selkirk to find out current position and got a response saying they no longer did mortgages. I do note their website still advertises mortgages, all very strange and I will have to start all over again.

   If there were more stars available for Kylie Burnett, mortgage advisor at Neilson Place I would give them. Kylie recently organised 2 mortgages for me & she made a very complex process so simple. She was knowledgeable & supportive with my many questions. There were a few changes to my plans & Kylie was always patient with this. I have since recommended her to anyone I know looking for a mortgage as I would also like them to have this experience. Thank you Kylie!

   I would give them - 0 if I could. Wasted a lot of time with T Sendwell who stated I had a mortgage offer only to find I didn’t. Completely clueless. Took my money - which I would like back and will be taking this matter further. Avoid these people. I finally went to Mortgagekey and secured an excellent remortgage deal. I don’t believe this firm knows what it is doing. Don’t waste your time and do not part with any money - it is illegal to charge and not provide a service. The sooner they go out of business the better.

   Not normally one to leave negative reviews but given the really bad experience I have had with Neilson Place I felt compelled to do so. They applied for a Barclays BTL mortgage on the 4th Aug 21, I have just completed now, on the 28th Oct 21 almost 3 months later. Service was extremely poor, a clerical error by Neilson place (they missed the street number off the mortgage application!) led to a very long delay and me spending hours (I estimate over 10 hours) on the phone chasing Barclays, the E-Surv (the valuation company) and Neilson Place. If you want a broker to take the pain out of a mortgage application do not use Neilson Place, in my experience they are sloppy, not at all proactive and unable to resolve issues in a timely manner. Really poor, I would give one star, but they did not charge the commission due to their error, they still charged the £99 application and received £1400 from Barclay’s. They are overpriced and not very capable. I won't be using them again and would not recommend them to anyone.
