   Huge and delicious seafood boil, could share it between 3 with a few sides. :) lovely French Sauvignon Blanc as well went perfectly. Service was prompt and friendly and they even surprised us with a nice happy birthday plate with our dessert.

   We ordered a seafood platter (limited edition) at £135 and shellfish cow taster Cataplana from the lunch menu at £23. The latter is good and value for money but the seafood platter is not. Except the oysters, all of the seafood in the plate are overcooked. Prawns are big but not fresh. Crab claws and lobster tail are flavorless. 6 prawns, 6 crab claws, 6 oysters, lobster tail and 1 portion of crab meat in shell costs £135. The taste is far below my expectations. Freshness is a basic requirement for seafood platter but it is not, so disappointed.

   That is by far one of the best fish restaurants that I’ve eaten at in the last few years. The shellfish was cooked to perfection. It was seasoned really well. The ambience was super and the staff were super friendly and really accommodating of special dietary needs and intolerances. Can’t fault this place. Will definitely be got back soon. Can’t wait!!

   It’s a lovely place. The seafood is incredible. Big mussels. Perfect prawns, beautiful lobster. All of it was amazing. My only complaint is that I didn’t like the sauce which had a strong leek taste but didn’t mention leeks on the menu and I don’t like them. If you like leeks there’s no issue with the garlic sauce or you can have another sauce. Unfortunately it tainted all the seafood for me but that’s not really the restaurants fault. The seafood itself is incredibly fresh and the staff were lovely. It was very quiet.

   I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday. And we were both really Impressed from the moment we walked in. The gentleman at the front of house had a lovely charisma about him and he was knowledgeable about the food. When ordering our eyes were bigger than our bellies and he advised us to stagger our order as to not over do it. I think most waiters would just encourage you to rack your bill up with out any regard for this, so it was appreciated. Everything on the menu looked so nice we were just excited and wanted it all!! The drinks were delicious, the food was outstanding and we will be coming back when we have the opportunity. Worth every penny!

   I have been here several times now and the food is always amazing. Always made to feel welcome and the knowledge of the staff when it comes to their food or wines is brilliant, they can answer any question you may have or advise you. The menu changes regularly so you can try something different when you go again. The ingredients are always fresh and top quality, well worth a visit.

   We had a fantastic meal for my hubbies birthday on Saturday 13 Nov 21. The service was outstanding, there when needed but by no means invasive. I have no words for how good the food was and how much above and beyond Jason and team went to accommodate what the birthday boy asked for - not only did he want an October special but he wanted one from Wallingford which they happily made especially for him and in his own words "that was the best bit of steak I have eaten for a very long time" There were 9 of us and we all enjoyed every dish. Thank you Jason and your amazing team for an unforgettable meal. We will be back soon xx
