I had an excellent experience working with Saif Yasin as my legal advisor. He is highly knowledgeable, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure I understood every aspect of my case. Saif communicates clearly, responds promptly, and provides well-thought-out guidance that reflects both expertise and genuine care for his clients. His professionalism and dedication gave me confidence throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Saif Yasin to anyone seeking reliable and effective legal support.

This company is shocking my old will got transferred to this company some years ago, I made an appointment in July this year as I wanted to alter the will, they cost me over £600, I am still waiting for a copy to agree and sign, I have rang several times, E mailed in, they eventually called back stating things would get done, still nothing has happened, shocking customer service. I would never recommend this company at all. I have messaged today But will make a formal complaint if nothing gets done.

Never have I had to write a poor review on Google. Do not use this company ever. I am reporting them to the law society. 18 months down the line and £1600 lighter we still have not seen my mothers LPOA. DO NOT USE! They never reply. They never work. They lie. They change staff more than I change underwear (daily). They’ve picked the wrong person! That’s all I’ll say as this is public

Oh my goodness, I wish I had read the reviews before I set off on this journey with Simpsons! A simple will and LPA, first meeting with Elliott on 11/10/24, paid £1614! Today I received my will, almost a year later!!! 19/9/25 Total lack of communication skills, and customer service. Back in March they posted all my documents to the wrong address, they are still missing! I made a formal complaint and they gave me £250 for the distress caused! Even making a formal complaint didn't make the process any quicker. I will never ever use this company again and I would never recommend to anyone A very stressful experience

Our wills were transferred to this company without our knowledge. We were told we had to update them with Simpsons which we did. We advised them that we would be moving abroad and they constantly contacted us saying we needed to change our wills as we had sold a property that was in the initial will. Elliott came to our house (22nd May) and as previously, talked through the things we should have in place. (He spoke extremely fast) We paid him £2508.00 (with a 14 day cooling off) and when he left we both felt ‘shell shocked’ and later that night decided the advice given was not what we wanted. I called Elliott the next morning, and confirmed we did NOT want to go ahead with the changes. He advised we would get my money refunded. However he continued to call throughout the day trying to change my mind. I have been chasing my refund for over two weeks and I’ve been told each time it was in hand! I’ve called again today to be told the same thing! I’ve asked to speak to Elliott- he’s not available, neither was there anyone in finance apparently and no I could not raise a complaint as there was no one to take my call. The receptionist said she would send an email to call me back, I requested a call by 5pm today (12th June). It is now 1730 and no call. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!

So far so good! Communication with Simpson Solicitors has been excellent. My wife and I had an in home meeting with Adil recently regarding wills and powers of attorney and were immediately put at ease by his knowledge and pressure-free manner.

I am writing this on behalf of Sandra davidge . Madeline blaney visited me in my home on quite a few occasions regarding my will , she is on time , very pleasant , knows exactly what she is doing and she has been a great help . I would recommend the lady named above and Simpsons solicitors if you wish to make a will .

Two and a half years ago we lost our mum. The firm that was supposed to be dealing with probate went out of business. In steps Simpsons Solicitors/Rightprobate of Derby. Two and a half years later and they are now refusing (yes, refusing!) to pay out the funds from my late mums estate. But lets rewind a little.... Emails, phone calls, even going down to the office in person got us nowhere. No communication, no phone calls, nothing until, after 6 months, I threatened them with the ombudsman. They admitted (and I have the email that confirms this) that they had done nothing, zero, zip, with the file for the last 6 months. Another solicitor takes the reigns, promising to 'progress the estate as quickly as possible'... This was October 2020. Since then, we have had excuse after excuse for the lack of progress i.e. blaming Covid. We have had documents sent to the wrong address... presumably that was the Covid virus in the system too. We don't hear anything for weeks on end, emails go unanswered and their complaints department may as well not exist. Fast forward two and a half years to now and the estate is still not settled. Simpsons Solicitors have been in receipt of my mums money for well over a year now. They have been 'finalising' the estate for a record number of months and now that everything is in place to pay out, they won't distribute the funds. We have had several promises that we are 'now a priority' and that 'accounts are processing the payment today', yet still, for some reason, they refuse, are unwilling, or, more concerningly, unable to process the payments. This has been going on for the last 2 months. I have contacted the ombudsman, referred the matter to the law society and reported them to the SRA. But no, still they refuse to distribute the funds. If you think it is just me complaining, then take a look at this article posted by journalist Tony Hetherington from Money.co.uk. The article was published in January 2022 and tells the story of a 90 year old gentleman who engaged Simpsons Solicitors to deal with a will. They took £1283 from this gentlemans account in April and by the January they still hadn't sent him the will to sign.

I’ve had the worst experience for the past 3+ years with this business. My family’s case has been handed off to 4 different persons, no documents that I’ve requested has been provided, every time I call everyone seems to either always be in a meeting or unavailable and when they NEVER call back, I rarely get updates on my case because no one responds to my emails, I can’t seem to get a meeting booked in to have a face to face session, no matter how many complaints I’ve made nothing changes. I’ve recently AGAIN tried emailing the complaints department and they’ve also been ignoring my emails. If anyone has any experience as to how they escalated their case please note that in a comment above. At this point my next step is approaching the legal Ombudsman to trigger a formal investigation on their processes and lack of professionalism. I feel as though we’re being scammed with this business.
