   Bought my house with these over a year ago, do no use! Constantly pushing them,terrible communication I could go on. I think since changing to stills and betteridge they have gone down the pan.

   Chose this firm to purchase our house after reading multiple good reviews online. We obtained quotes and despite them being more expensive than other local firms, we decided to go ahead with high hopes. The communication from the conveyancing team was great to begin with up until around a few weeks ago when we were informed by the estate agent as well as sellers that out solicitors were dragging our feet. Because of this, our sellers set a deadline for exchange of contracts as all work had been claimed to have been completed on their part and the hold up was our solicitors. A few days ago we receive a phone call explaining that both staff members of the conveyancing team had suddenly left the firm and therefore we did not have a case handler and our case would be transferred to another branch, not only demonstrating a lack of professionalism, but also causing further delays close to completion. We then find out that the staff at the Derby branch had not complete important work which should have been done early on in the process, adding further delays to an already very delayed house buying process, that should not be taking this long. I have had to spend countless time liaising with the solicitors, sellers and estate agents, which I should have not been having to do when I am paying for a legal team to do this on my behalf, it should not have been my job. I am now having to re-submit documents and evidence that should already be on file due to the firm's poor handling and communication. To add to this, my partner and I have requested multiple times for in person meetings to discuss the results of some of the searches and also responses to enquires, as we ae first time buyers and some of the advice was unclear to this. They have failed to provide us with this meeting or an opportunity to discuss any of the advice provided, which quite frankly is unacceptable. Overall I am not happy with the service I have received, and I do not think the price is reflective of the work undertaken by the team, and I will not be recommending them to anybody I know.

   AVOID! They took so long to actually do their job that my mortgage offer nearly expired, and I nearly missed the opportunity all to buy all together. They didn't answer their phone for weeks at a time. The longest was 3 and a half weeks! This includes answer phone messages, emails and secure messaging service. On one occasion it was clear they had just completely forgotten to complete the next stage as they said when I rang them that it would be another 4 weeks, which is how long they already said 4 weeks ago! This service is completely unacceptable from a company dealing with such important matters.

   Would highly recommend Campions Yellow Team to anyone looking for conveyancing. The yellow team are in my opinion absolutely amazing! They worked on the sale of our property, a purchase that went almost through to completion and then a second purchase which did complete. The team got all of them ready to go in excellent time (always waiting for the other solicitors!), were friendly, knowledgable and kept me up to date. Extra special thanks to Lauren G and Pavan S for working so hard and helping us to get our dream home! They are a real asset to the team and I’m so grateful to them. We made use of the no move no fee extra which we purchased and then we had to pull out of a sale. We didn’t pay any fees for this even though all the work had been completed and Campions then carried on to work on our next purchase. Highly recommended the extra £84 for peace of mind if anything goes wrong. The only negative I will say is that I often struggled to get through on the phone however the team were very quick to reply to emails so it didn’t really matter. All I ever hear is people complain about their solicitors so I am so grateful to have found Campions Yellow Team. Thank you!

   I received excellent service from Campions throughout my house purchase which was made more difficult for them due to the Covid restrictions, the Stamp duty holiday and the fact that I had returned from abroad which complicated issues. Will use them again in order to do my Will once I am moved in and settled. I liked that they had a local office to me which made things easier at the end although most of the communication was done on line keeping us all safe. Staff were friendly and polite and fees were within the normal range as I did compare prices .
