I cannot thank Harriet , lucia (midwives) Katy and poppy (students) enough for their support and encouragement as I gave birth to my first baby. It was a 10 hour labour and unfortunately my epidural was unsuccessful but I want to thank hodge as well for all his help in getting me some pain relief. I really could not have done it without these names mentioned they went above & beyond for me! As someone who has autism , I can find medical situations make me very anxious, panicky and uncomfortable but these people reassured me so much that I felt completely comfortable and safe in their care. Harriet and Katy did the first half of my labour over night and then handed over to lucia and poppy in the morning. I saw the difference it would’ve made having a midwife that didn’t care so much as when Harriet and Katy went on their break just after midnight , I had another midwife who I can’t remember the name of who was hardly in the room and barely spoke to me even though I was in agony and very upset, she told me “if it’s that bad you can have an epidural you know” I had been doing ok naturally with Harriet and Katy up to this point but due to the pain I had gotten into with lack of support from her I agreed to the epidural, when Harriet and Katy came back from their break I cried in relief to see them and was so glad they were back. When they handed over to lucia & poppy in the morning they were also amazing and helped me deliver my beautiful little girl with no tears or assistance. I want to also say the care I received on the maternity ward when I was waiting to be moved onto the labour ward was amazing and one lovely lady in particular I cannot remember the name of but she was probably in her 40s and had lovely long auburn/gingery hair in a low pony tail, she was so very kind to me and so reassuring. I cannot thank Frimley enough for their kindness and my one bad experience of the cover midwife while the other midwives were on their break is completely outweighed by the love & care I felt from every single other team member I came across. I can truly say i would never by choice have a baby anywhere else and with the experience I had , I can’t wait to do it all again soon. Thank you girls, thank you hodge, thank you Frimley ❤️

My daughter was born in this hospital. Before this hospital my other two kids was born at Kingston and to be honest this was the worst experience. Starting from the attitude , finishing with every basic things like cutlery was dirty (some kind of anti sanitary) I felt like I was giving birth the first time, I could not relax, the students were coming up and down by asking questions in an appropriate time. My midwife was a bit rude and been disturbing me non stop. Everything been stressing me out. The aftercare was bad, after giving birth, me and my partner was waiting for hours in the labour ward. Ladies was trying to find a scale and disappeared for over an hour Then suggesting you to book a separate ward in advance, as they will put you with 10 other people in one. At Kingston hospital I used to have my separate for free and plus people were smiling in there. I haven’t seen any smiling person at Frimley

Had my daughter here last week by C-Section. The care was absolutely incredible from start to finish. As was all the antenatal care throughout my pregnancy. Can’t speak highly enough of this department. Thank you so much for everything I felt in such safe hands.

I honestly cannot fault the midwives and doctors at frimley. The care and compassion I received (all bar one rude arrogant dismissive doctor) was absolutely incredible. I didn’t have an easy birth and they helped me through every step. Some midwives honestly went above and beyond to help through the tears, pain and decisions. They honestly deserve so much more than they receive! However the overall management of frimley needs work. Waiting for hours to move to labour ward, resulting in an even longer hospital stay, sheer exhaustion leading to an emergency C-section. It was clear the team was extremely overstretched and not given the funding to help. The reason for 4 stars is how poor I found the aftercare. The midwives and health assistants often claimed to be too busy but would be sat around talking and laughing. 45 minutes I waited for someone to come and help me. Also some of the health care assistants where extremely judgemental. I mean coke on I’ve just endured absolute hell and I’m exhausted and in pain and emotional so some compassion would be nice. So they did let frimley down. Overall the prenatal care, antenatal ward and delivery ward care was more than I could have asked for.

We had a 34 week scan today at antenatal department and Very poor behaviour from sonographer. She didn't even want to answer my query and said that is not my job. Can't believe such behaviour in such a reputed organisation like Frimley park. Also, very unprofessional behaviour from admin clerk. Poor communication.

Absolutely disgusted by my visit at Frimley today! As a first time mum I had the worst experience here having my scan done today! Sonogropher was disgusting. She didn’t even say “hello” for a start. She was so rude to me and she didn’t even seem to have any care for my baby at all! During my scan she did not speak to me the whole time. Didn’t even show me my baby! Or even tell me that my baby was okay? She was rude and didn’t explain a single thing that was going on and generally didn’t have a single care! I was left in tears during my scan as I couldn’t even see my baby despite multiple visits and not had a single picture this whole time! I personally felt that after today the staff in this unit need to be trained in how to speak to expectant mothers and let them know how their baby is doing rather than rushing everybody and having one in and one out. I have now had to pay for a private scan AGAIN as the sonogropher was incapable of showing me my baby and gave me no confidence that my baby is okay!
