We booked with Rebecca for a table of 18 Adults and 6 Children for Sunday 23rd Nov 25 as we where celebrating my 60th Birthday and had visited only once previously under the old management. We left a £50 deposit which was very reasonable. Rebecca was extremely warm, engaging & Very helpful. We pre-ordered which was just so great as there were so many of us. We all got our correct meals and when i had left out 2 of my relatives, Rebecca & Her team sprung into action. The Food was absolutely excellent. Most people had 2 courses and I heard no complaints only praise. Payment was so easy to sort as it was all listed. The room upstairs also has a bar which makes it all so easy. The Atmosphere was great and there was plenty of room for us all. Rebecca kept engaging with me throughout the meal to ensure all was fine. Top Place and Top Staff. Thank you to you all, you helped make Nice memories. We don't live local as we where all staying in Lodges near by but hoping to visit again next year for our family reunion. Cheers Rebecca.

3 aging cyclists arrived tired and hungry to The Mill Wheel looking for an afternoon meal. I had the traditional fish and chips (best chips I've had in a long while), mushy peas and tartar sauce, 2nd had gammon (which was a joint !), 3rd had the chicken with fondant potatoes and green vegetables, now the latter knows his food and if its not right he wants to see the chef but there was nothing left on his plate, in fact, all 3 of us cleared our plates. I understand the Mill is under new management, well congratulations to the owners and staff because, regards the food you are off to a great start. Wish you well for the future.

Since being taken over by the Jennings in June the food, service and experience has been fantastic. The Sunday lunch is the best you will ever taste.

The Mill Wheel is my second visit to this pub and so far has not been disappointing. The atmosphere is one of welcoming and wonderful bar staff. Food was excellent although only complaint was we were expecting to have the amazing carvery cobs, but unfortunately they changed the menu. But what we had was amazing I had ordered the Fish Goujons with salad and tartar sauce on Ciabatta, my brother in law had the Stilton and Steak on Ciabatta bread, and my sister had the Cheese and ham. Very tasty and certainly worth the money. Staff were professional and courteous in the service, and such a wonderful place. I give it a full rating.

Lovely meal. Highly recommended for food. I had minted lamb steaks with mashed potatoes, garden peas and gravy. Absolutely delicious and steaming hot food.

Fantastic Sunday lunch today for 4 adults, 2 children and a dog. Great menu - three fantastic roasts from the carvery, one fabulous sea bass, one delicious lasagna and one super spaghetti bolognese - six really happy diners! Staff were lovely, kind and helpful, genuinely enjoying their work and making our experience great. Iād visit again and would highly recommend.

Generous, tasty, great value carvery. Loads of succulent beef, rich gravy, plenty of perfectly cooked vegetables. Thank you to the team for making us and our dogs really welcome.

Visited with family on Saturday night for a birthday celebration. The food was excellent. The girls waiting on the 10 of us were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back again.

Delicious food. Friendly service. And a fantastic setting. The piece de resistance has to be there's an actual Mill Wheel with actual water making it actually turn. And the rest of the place looks great too.
