My Fred has been looked after by Emma for over 4 yrs now. He is quite a timid dog at first. All at Bertie’s make a big fuss of him & go out of their way to make him feel safe & loved He loves the walks in a big pack & has his special spot on the stairs to rest afterwards

Our dog really bonded with Emma and Martin and looked forward to his time with them. He enjoyed his walks and benefitted from their expert guidance. Bertie and Friends have helped us out over a number of years for dog boarding (holidays / weekends) and it was great to find Emma, Bertie and his team of Friends. Our dog has not been crate trained / kennelled so finding a safe home from home environment for her, where she is loved, exercised and also has the opportunity to play with her new found friends is great for both us and our Cockapoo. She always gets excited to have her own personal holiday and always comes back confident and happy.
We were so fortunate to find Emma @ Bertie and friends. Our goldador was a little nervous as a puppy and we were anxious to find somewhere caring and homely rather than a kennel when we went on holiday. Right from the start Emma's care and experience ensured she felt comfortable. The dogs are exercised together in lovely parks and open fields, and they all seem incredibly happy. We are comforted knowing our dog is safe and cared for in a happy home environment when we are away and would thoroughly recommend Emma and the team.
Our Heidi loves going to see her friends at Bertie & Friends. Everytime i take her, she can't wait to get to the door, tail wagging and bum wiggling. Emma and Martin are amazing - so kind, caring and loving with her and all the dogs. Their place is a home from home, a lovely set up for pooches. I can't recommend enough! I use Bertie & Friends to look after my lab when I have to work. Emma is fantastic! Milly is a very nervous dog so it’s always a very anxious time for us both but Emma takes this in her stride perfectly. She puts both me and Milly at ease and I am in no doubt that Emma gives her as much love, attention & affection as she gets at home! I really wouldn’t send Milly anywhere else!
Highly recommend Bertie and friends, our dog Harley had a wonderful day there and met plenty of lovely and friendly dogs and was given outstanding service throughout his time there.

Our Tibetan Terrier has been going to Bertie and friends since September. He absolutely loves it. He can’t get out of the car quick enough. Emma sends regular updates on his day. I would highly recommend if anyone needs their fur baby caring for this is definitely the place for you.
Emma is the only person we trust to look after our Rosie. She loves going to Emma so much that she actually gets excited when she realises we're driving the route to Emma and Bertie's. All of the dogs in her care are treated as if they were her own and you can tell she absolutely adores each and every one of them. We love Bertie & Friends!
