The food at this restaurant is impeccable. We had the Tomahawk on the first visit then a carvery today and both times it was amazing. The carvery is the best I’ve had, lots of choice, crispy roasties and succulent, perfectly cooked meat. The staff are attentive and the place has a really enjoyable atmosphere, it is very busy but not too noisy as the place is really big and has high ceilings. The onion rings and steak sauces are delicious, steak cooked perfectly exactly as ordered and macaroni cheese was the best I’ve had in a restaurant. The chips are homemade, you can really tell the quality of the ingredients used. It is very reasonably priced, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients. We are going back again with the whole family as my mum is Celiac and they have so many gluten free options which is very impressive. I highly recommend visiting.

Really nice meal, the steaks are great. However, the menus were dirty and sticky which is a bit off-putting.

Calvery was nothing special considering the price £22.50. Some of the food was cold. There was no mash potato which was disappointing. Restaurant was very busy and full of screaming kids. Won’t be going there for a calvery again. Hartford Marina is a fraction of the price and just as good . Staff were great though .

Ate here whilst on a day out. Me and the wife had the steak burger. The little one had cheese burger sliders which came with a desert included. Im a burger fan and this one has been by far the best burger Ive had to date. The flavours were insane and the tomato and lettuce were good quality, not dripping in fat flimsy or mouldy etc. It all melted in the mouth. The kids sliders are value for money and my little one ate them up. Good alcohol range and soft drink range for kids. I will eat here again and try the steak next. Staff are attentive and welcoming. I gave a good tip as they were so helpful and the food hit the mark.

Me and my boyfriend came here for a dinner and overall the dinner was nice. We had Camembert to start and it was very good however we could have used some more bread potentially as between two there wasn’t much. The mains were very nice however nothing amazing and a little overpriced for what they were. The atmosphere wasn’t great, it was pretty empty and most of the staff were lovely but some looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but working there. Probably wouldn’t come back too again as it just isn’t worth the money in my opinion.

Love it, steaks great, service really good but not overpowering. It was busy but not horrendous, a nice buzz.

A bit disappointed. Wrong steak on my plate. Sent it back and all they did was remove the well done stick and brought it back. Mine med/rare was one my friends so we swapped. The lady's surf and turf had cold mushrooms and cooked tomatoes so all in all slightly disappointing and probably won't be back.

Honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Booked a table during the end of lockdown for my other half’s birthday, was really looking forward to visiting. Greeted by a member of staff who didn’t seem to want to work there which wasn’t a great start. The starters were okay but seemed reheated, main (steak) was nice but dessert was served still frozen and couldn’t eat it. When we were asked if everything was ok we pointed this out and it was taken away I expected it to be deducted from the bill and felt awkward when it wasn’t. The bill came to over £100 for two people sharing a starter, two mains and two desserts. Not a great experience.
