   I belong to a group of 12 adults who like to visit a different restaurant once a month for an evening meal for a few years and have enjoyed every one of them, until we went to the WAVES AND FLAME restaurant. Our organiser booked weeks in advance for a 7pm sitting. I got there half a hour early and the place was empty apart from the bartender and myself. The interior was great and the table layout beautiful. The rest of the group arrived and were very impressed until the starters came out that some had ordered one starter of sea foods had to be sent back 4 times because it was not cooked properly one was cold other members found similar problems but ate in silence. Instead of waiting for our friends to finish like we always do the staff brought out the main meals for the rest of use. 2 members ordered whole sea bass, only one received the bass the other lady go what looked like a very small piece of plaice. I ordered a rack of ribs meal I could have found more meat on a skeleton that I found on my plate. With it was an inch long piece of sweetcorn and a small basket of fry’s. My desert which was supposed to be orange cake with a scoop of ice cream, when I took a small spoonful of the cake I nearly had to spit it out, I left the rest sitting there. We all paid our bills separately like we always do and wait wait for confirmation that the bill was was correct. The waiter came back saying we were £40 something short one of the group told the manager to call the police if he wasn’t happy but he refused. What was supposed to be a nice meal out and a monthly get together, turned out to be the worst meal at a restaurant that we have all ever had.

   We had a lovely date night at Waves & Flames. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the staff were lovely and it was all round a great evening. We'll definitely be going back!

   Ordered pork tenderloin. The food delivered did not look anything like the picture on the menu, was cold and tough. A similar pattern for the rest of our party. Draft beers advertised but not available, 330ml bottles over £5. Not a good experience.

   Thoroughly impressed. The food was fantastic, with a delicious selection of grilled meats, fresh salads, and colourful roasted vegetables. Each dish was beautifully prepared and flavourful. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed, enhancing our overall dining experience. Offers a perfect combination of great food, a cosy atmosphere, and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

   A real shocker for a Sunday afternoon, while out with friends looking for a nice spot for lunch, we came across this little treasure. World Dorado (great name) offing up a new ‘setup’ menu, allowing the customer to order a set menu for a fixed price. We as a group opted to have the restaurant team surprise us with the meal and not inform us on the items we should be expecting (adding a little theatre to the meal). We would highly recommend this approach as much as we would the venue, staff team and the food. Firstly let’s talk about the venue; spacious and inviting with a great ‘vibe’, music audible yet still allowing conversation. The Staff; highly enthusiastic and willing to both help and support our group with its silly lunch theatre (surprise menu) now the food… as I mentioned it was a set menu we opted for even though throughout the day this restaurant offers breakfast (build your own - exciting stuff) and a full ‘menu’ of options. As far as the setup menu goes it was remarkable! We don’t know the names of the options brought to us however I can say it was the best salard I think I may have ever had. The main no less impressive with a portion size far out weighing the cost complete with bread rolls etc! On to the final course (a reminder this was lunch on a random Sunday) was a tiramisu (we knew that one) that would not have been out of place in the Italian restaurant down the way. Overall a perfect dining experience will be back (we are so sure we have booked in for next Sunday). On a side note the coffee is also excellent!

   The place is immaculate! I went out with 3 of my friends. We all enjoyed our meals. The portions are generous- it is a good value for money. The menu is versatile: you can chose a traditional Romanian meal, something Italian like a risotto or a delicious veggie burger!

   Well, we got to the restaurant, only to find out they had a Romania comedian on. We'd paid £10 deposit which the restaurant would not pay us back. They said we could stay ,but would have to wait a long time to be served. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. POOR POOR POOR CUSTOMER. SERVICE

   The staff were amazing, we were there for my sister in law and brother in law's 47th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed being able to go to a restaurant after 3 months. The food was amazing and cooked exactly the way we wanted it. We will definitely go back.
