   Atrocious professionalism, unresponsive and frankly incompetent. By trying to sell my house, if I could represent myself legally I would have over the waste of time, money and effort needed to extract the necessary paperwork from Sampson Coward. An easy, 3-house chain took an agonising 5 months due (in my opinion, and the opinion of the other 2 households) to the incompetent administration. I query as to why I, as the customer, would need to ring weekly to ensure there was any movement on the progress of our sale? Why I, as the customer, am calling estate management companies to push the next phase of the sale along? Why I, as the customer, am needing to negotiate with a secretary as to when the solicitor in question is coming back from an extensive 4 week holiday (without informing clients)? Baffling unprofessionalism with a pretentious price tag

   We were very satisfied with our dealings with Sampson Coward who we hired to settle our late parents estate. Our advisor dealt with all affairs in a timely, professional and efficient manner. Right from the get go her communication with us was excellent. Initially she graciously talked us through the process of Probate in order for us to reach a decision as to whether we wanted her to handle it for us or not. We had absolutely no doubt in our minds by the end of the conversation that she was the right person for us. We were not disappointed. We were kept informed at all stages of the process and our advisor was patient and kind in replying to our doubts and queries. Nothing was too much trouble. At an emotional time for ourselves we felt very fortunate to have found someone who has that all important human touch. We felt that the fees for the services were very reasonable, everything was clearly itemised and all predicted costs were explained in detail during our initial meeting. There were no hidden extras or unwelcome surprises. We could not recommended the service we were provided with more highly.
