   Rooms are clean and warm, apartments a great lovely and ideal for short getaways. Continental breakfast left in fridge so if you arrive late, you have something. Facilities and appliance in the apartments are perfect. 10/10. Only knock I'll give it, is it's hard to find at night!!

   This is the third time we have stayed at the Lodge. The apartments are spotless and the continental breakfasts are fresh. It has been a few years since the lodge was opened and there are little signs of age such as broken toilet seat, cracked tiles, missing toilet roll holder and freezer door not opening with the outer door, in in the great scheme of things these are minor. The location is close to the Great North Road but far away for any noise, it is very quiet with adequate parking on the street. I would wholly recommend it and hope it doesn't popularise too much so that I can get booked next time.

   Difficult to find fault however whilst I was made aware the sofa needs to be replaced sadly the bed mattress was uncomfortable and you could feel the springs which meant i didnt sleep well at all . Shame it didn't match the high standard of the apartment.

   Loved this place. Comfortable big rooms in flat A .We stayed for a week and will try to book again even if staying for a couple of nights .Bus stop 2 min walk and bus every 10 minutes or less.Parking no problem .Great bed and shower.We were out a lot as weather was sunny all week There was a huge tv in our flat and a pile of dvds in the hall for guests use if we had been inside more.Good value.

   Excellent accommodation & really easy check-in/key collection. Apartment could do with some lamps in the living room (ceiling lights alone are far too bright & you can't sit under them all night!) and the odd picture on the walls would be nice!

   Very well equipped self contained apartment. The kitchen had almost every utensil you could need and you have everything you need to cook a meal. Large tv and DVD player. There was Wifi but it was slow and I ended up using my own 4G stick. Apartment was clean but the bathroom tiles could do with a bit of maintenance. Good shower, plenty of towels, hairdryer, ironing board - everything you need really. Didn't like that there are only blinds up at the windows, lets light in and makes it a bit colder. Very well located and easy access and check in process. All in all a good base for exploring or good for a one night stay. I have used them twice now and would use again.
