My company has been with Edmonds Accountancy since 2014 and the service has been impeccable. Most recently Mohsin Ahmed answered some queries regarding our VAT quarter, organised our company accounts and personal taxation along with an additional request for a company valuation. Edmonds are very approachable and you can have a normal conversation with them. Mohsin has done all of our company accounts and my personal returns and he has been very good as always, I thoroughly recommend Mohsin and Edmonds.
Edmonds do a great job of looking after our payroll and accounts. I am particularly pleased with the help Mohsin has given me over the last year, he is always polite and very helpful. He gives me prompt advice with any queries I have.
Edmonds Accountancy did not provide us with the level of services we were looking for. Although the staff were polite and happy to help, they were extremely difficult to get a hold of. It was typically a couple of weeks for a reply, and it was not uncommon to take even longer, or for our enquiry to remain ignored. Furthermore we reduced the level of services with them gradually, but were never decreased in billing total. This included decreasing the level of bookkeeping to none, and dropping the entire payroll service; so that all that remained was our Year End Accounts. When raising this concern we were ignored initially and then provided with a blanket response that did not really answer the questions we raised. We decided to move to a new accounting service provider and in the end it was taking so long to resolve our enquiries that it was easier to pay the totals rather than chase them; which felt a little deliberate. We are only a small company so maybe Edmonds were more focused on large ones, but if this was the case we would have rather been told to find an accounting service that typically takes on firms of our size. A real shame as we worked so well with some of the staff when they did respond. For a small business we would not recommend Edmonds, but we cannot speak to the level of service for a larger business.
