Would highly recommend this practice and Catherine is so approachable, kind, easy to work with and is an amazing listener as well as helping me with strategies etc. I’ve only paused my sessions with Catherine because of my financial situation and plan to go back at the earliest opportunity.

Catherine is amazing at what she does. The past 8 months we've used a mix of EMDR and talking therapy. Her professional, kind, gentle and empathetic approach created a space to feel safe and encourage me to manage one of the most difficult things I've had to go through physically and emotionally. The whole experience been incredibly valuable for my wellbeing and my family's and thank my lucky stars I came across her.

Having just finished 20 months of therapy with Catherine Kniveton, what can I say apart from 10/10, would highly recommend; - Therapy isn’t just for when you’re broken, it’s to help you be the best version of yourself. I've had a few therapies across the years and this has been by far the most enjoyable and effective experiences, which has set me up with the tools and self confidence to succeed in life outside of having therapy - Catherine is incredible at what she does, and anyone would be lucky to work with her. She provides a truly safe space to work with a nurturing therapist. She got to know me, went at my own pace, adapted as needed. Her expertise and approach felt like a warm arm of comfort the entire way through the process - EMDR therapy really works! I successfully processed two deep trauma / core belief focus points with Catherine. Both of which now have zero impact on my life and thinking. This processing has also eased any general anxiety and depressive thinking I had as a result - We did some talking therapy sessions mixed within the focused EMDR work which was an ideal combination for myself as it allowed the pace to ed and flow alongside what was happening in my personal life throughout the time in therapy - The ripple effect of positive change in my life due to being in therapy with Catherine has been huge. I’ve come off my mental health medication, I’ve lost 2.5 stone in weight due to having focus and support towards on my overall health and wellbeing, I’ve reduced my alcohol intake by over 50% and have a healthy relationship with it now, my sleep has improved, my self confidence. I’ve improved many important relationships in my life. I’ve been able to grow in such a positive and impactful way. - Catherine also spotted something entirely separate going on with me during our sessions and gently pointed this out, in a way that I almost discovered it alongside her / came to my own realisation - and have since had a thorough diagnosis to confirm our assumptions. This has resulted in me having further self awareness, compassion and contextualisation to my prior struggles, plus a whole new perspective on life moving forwards. THANK YOU CATHERINE - forever grateful!

I have just finished EMDR with Catherine and I can’t recommend her enough. The issue we discussed was something I found very difficult to talk about, however Catherine made me feel comfortable from the first session as she is so kind and approachable. The sessions have been life changing for me and I can’t thank her enough for that.

I was sceptical at first about how effective therapy would be for me but it's perhaps one of the best things I've ever done. It has helped me work through a lot of issues, some I wasn't fully aware of until I began the process. Catherine is wonderful at what she does, providing a compassionate and kind environment to discuss any issues judgement free. I would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone who asked and have actively told my friends about how good the service she provides is. If you have any inkling that therapy might work for you I'd urge you to go for it and you couldn't ask for a finer practitioner than Catherine.

Catherine is a lovely lady and makes you feel at ease when attending her sessions. My daughter enjoyed her art therapy sessions with her and we really saw a difference in the way she presented her feelings through art. I highly recommend Catherine’s sessions and will definitely book with her again if I ever needed to.

Catherine and I use to work together with Special needs children. Most of the children had Social, emotional and mental health issues. Catherine's approach has always been calming and therapeutic. As a therapeutic mental health teacher, Art therapy plays a vital role as a specialist intervention approach, to help children reach out and receive support. Catherine is an amazing therapist who is highly supportive and dedicated to her clients.

Catherine is very supportive and empathetic person. I was sceptical to the idea of therapy at first, however, with Catherine's professional and compassionate attitude, therapy became one of the best decisions I had made in order to help my daughter . Her expertise and knowledge was outstanding, as was her ability to fully understand my daughter's anxieties and needs. She developed a very suitable therapy for her, which involved facilitating her understanding towards her insecurities and how to manage her thoughts. A truly fantastic experience, highly recommended.
