   This has now been resolved fortunately, but my criticism remains. Had to deal with NFU in regards to a claim twice & both times they've been unhelpful & unresponsive. Phoned several times & emailed a couple of times over a couple of weeks following an incident & was ignored. I had to go elsewhere to sort the incident. Only replied 3 months later to inform me they ignored me because I got it sorted elsewhere... Which I did because they ignored me? I guess ignoring the problem did make it go away in their defence! Well done team, cheers for costing me £650 by having to get it sorted out of pocket.

   I and my family did a lot of business with NFU in the past, and the service has always been very good. However, seeing their recent advertising, and with ever increasing premiums for my holiday home insurance, I requested a quote: It was five times my existing premium! So be aware that good service may come at a price.

   Tina from NFU New Forest Branch was professional very knowledgeable polite and more importantly had a sense of humour, she walked me through the claim process and made it easy for me to chose NFU for my vehicle's insurance. The fact that they managed to beat my renewal quote did of course make a difference but had it been the same price I would have switched because of her professional attitude. Thanks very much NFU, looking forward to many years with you.
