He took the wheels and drums off and found they were in perfect order, just not adjusted even after a service from the other mechanic!    Brilliant! Just fitted our motor mover. Efficient and a nice guy, good advice (we are new to this) will definitely use again and recommend. Edit 31st August 2023. Had quite a lot of work done to the caravan, new roof lights, issues with wiring and most recently our jockey wheel collapsed. Dave responded quickly to my message and came round and fixed it. Prices always good and he doesn't replace parts or find faults to fix. Just does a great job and what is needed. Honest man.

   David arrived on time. Carried out a very extensive check of the whole caravan, carried out a couple of small repairs and gave great advice. He found a damp patch near the toilet and is coming back to repair. excellent service and very reasonable rates. Will defiantly use him again.

   This was the first service of my caravan since I purchased it privately late last year. I have used Dave from Caratechs before and was always pleased with what he has done for me. However, as soon as Dave started the service he had immediately spotted a major issue. Axle problem which meant that it had to come off and be sent away for repair. I can't thank Dave enough for the way in which he went about organising the repair. The axle was off, sent to Scotland, Fraser Brown Engineering, refurbished to a better spec than the original, back to my address and refitted by Dave with full caravan service. Astonishing - it took only 7 days. The overall cost was even far less than a new Bailey / AL-KO axle. Can't recommend Dave and Caratechs enough.
