   Had a problem with my DAF CF in Reading, DAF aid came out to the lay-by I was at in record time, less than half an hour. Did some checks and then I nursed the truck back to DAF Thealr where they diagnosed and fixed the problem there and then getting me back on the road ready for the next days work. They even let me grab a shower before I left, absolutely fantastic efficient service. Thankyou!

   HTC serviced my van and replaced a part under warranty. Overall I received a good service. They offer them option to leave them vehicle with them aswell as waiting in the customer reception where there is free WiFi and desks to work from it needed. That said, improvements could be made with their booking and comms process. The part my van needed had to be ordered from Fiat, I had to chase for an update and book in a 2nd visit. After I booked my 2nd visit I received a call to request to book the van in as the part was waiting even though I called to chase and book already. There was also a miscommunication on the booking date, it was booked in a day earlier than discussed over the phone so when I arrived was told I missed the booking the previous day - nobody called me to advise of this. Fortunately they managed to get a truck engineer to fit the part and avoid a wasted trip which was greatly appreciated. It would be great to have received a booking confirmation and reminder via email/text to provide certainty on the date booked which I think works have helped prevent the booking error. I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't for the communication and booking hiccups.

   Had a software recall update done on our van here. All went well and they did us a favour by fitting the job in a bit earlier than scheduled.

   Having waited weeks for an appointment to replace brake tie rods on my Motorhome I rang an hour before I needed to leave home to check directions as I’m new to the area . I’m told that the only man in this enormous Fiat depot who can do my job is off sick . They rang later to rearrange , I then discover they have not even ordered the parts . When I decide to cancel the job as I feel they are making it up as they go along , all of a sudden there is a miraculous healing of the sick man and they can do the job the following day . They tell me the parts have been ordered . When I arrive the next day the parts which I’m told usually arrive within an hour have not arrived even though they were ordered the day before . I wait an hour and the parts arrive , my guess is they were never ordered . I was told originally the job would take an hour , I waited three hours ! I’m compensated for the diabolical service financially by them reducing the labour cost which they claim was two hours to one hour which is exactly how long they said the job would take originally . Having sat in reception for three hours I could tell my experience was not uncommon as other customers came and went . I would not recommend this place and feel I have been told a lot of ridiculous nonsense

2. One Truck ★☆☆☆☆

   Very disappointed! We have bought in January a battery jumper from here, tested it was defect, we ve took it back shortly and they didn't want to refund as it has to go to warranty to receive the payment back. So as we needed the jump start and we bought another one. In the end after 2 months now we ended paying 2 jump starers and using only 1 as the warranty still fixing it. We will never get any parts from Daf again as we will end up with no money and the part.
