*MUST READ* !!!!! I was fooled by the great reviews and the brand name of Ernest Jones but frankly this one of the most embarrassing moments of my life and even made worse by the disappointment of my partner. I bought a diamond ring with 18K white gold and on proposal I quickly realised that the ring was way too loose, even though a previous ring sizing was done. I then called and was told I could get a ring resized and it would come in two days. I went into the store to get the most accurate ring size and was met by a colleague who said we couldn’t get a new ring and would have to get the current ring resized because it had scratches and smudges on it. We would also have to wait 3 weeks to get a new ring. I was shocked because my partner had only worn the ring once and took it off 5mins later when she realised it was loose as she didn’t want to lose it. Imagine spending thousands on an item only to be told there’s marks on it. I had asked her to show me another ring in the store and you wouldn’t believe it but it also had smudges and marks on it too! A brand new item, imagine the horror. The lady that served me was truly incompetent but we can accredit this too the poor quality goods that they are selling. She also embarrassed me by showing my partner how much I had spent on the item with no regards to privacy. I felt this was a special moment ruined. This was done purposefully, as there was no need to turn the payment screen to me as it didn’t show any info that she didn’t already inform us of. I did not feel welcomed! It’s a shame because other colleagues in the store treated me like a human being and with respect. I was treated as a peasant, an animal and like a person that didn’t deserve nice things. I will go as far in saying that it was racism. Please just go to another jewellery shop because Ernest Jones will disappoint and ridicule you. I will be taking my money elsewhere and escalating this to the highest heights. The lady that served me should not be allowed to serve others and treat people like this. It’s not right You have been warned!!!!

My wife and I bought a pair of cufflinks from this place as a gift to my father. However when it arrived at the store, it looked very different to what was shown on their website. The diamond was dim and much smaller than what's in the photo, and the box also had patches of paper scraps and damages. We wanted to return it on the spot but was told by one shop assistant that we have 30 days return window so we can think about it. We accepted this suggestion which turned out to be the biggest mistake we made. After a week of searching and browsing we made up our mind to return the cufflinks as there are much better options elsewhere. However the manager declined the return request, claiming that there are so many scratches on the cufflinks that she won't be able to sell it to the other customers. Ironically, we have never ever taken it out of the box since we took it home. As I said that, the manager stated that all sold goods are inspected by them and if it was like this (i.e. so many scratches) at the point of sale, they would have never sold it to me. Immediately the exact shop assistant who suggested to us to take the cufflinks home pointed out that she saw us checking it when we took the cufflinks. This was such a shock to my wife and I thought that the so-called "scratch" were the intrinsic nature of the material or design, because it was inspected by the shop assistant at the point of sale and no red flags were raised. In the end, the manager insisted that the return is not possible and I should take it up with their customer services. Most certainly it would be hard for us to get the money back since I have no proof that the cufflinks were given to us at its present state and it would their word against ours. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid EJ given their disgraceful practice. Moreover, if you want to return something, return it on the spot so you won't go through the same drama we had.

Hi I went there I gave my watch to them for repaired they did not do anything not even her behavior was really bad I was really very disappointed moreover I have insurance of my watch when I bought it , on that time they said you will cover any damage at all but now there are completely changed , and I asked her why they are taking so long employ said that I don't know , if you all agree with me please help me and we will take action against them.

Most disgusting customer service I have ever experienced! I went with my Mother’s friend yesterday and she was looking for some jewellery for herself. The shop-floor was only manned by one man until the manager came out and served us. Not only was she rude upon the initial greeting but was too lazy and stubborn to even check prices for the items my friend was looking to purchase. Was evidently frustrated and expressed this with her colleague. Had zero patience and makes me question her position in power. Absolutely horrible customer service and would never buy anything from them!
