Amazing place for dogs to run.

My 2 dogs love a good game of chasing each other and this is a big enough field for them to do so. There are some obstacles which looked adequate but my 2 are all about the running. There is a water bowl and water access for them to get a drink. There is also a 3 sided shed for a bit of shelter with a picnic bench inside if the humans need a seat. Great value also

Absolutely loved it, the location is very safe which I am obsessed with as some places classify themselves as fully closed and safe they end up not being, but it wasn’t the case here. It was safe, both of my dogs like to escape and here they couldn’t, but if a dog really wants it probably could if they are big and good at jumping. The area is a bit hilly but that’s not an issue. I like the sitting area which gives some cover too. There are two bins and poop bags available to be used. Booking is very easy to do and if you need help the people who own this respond fast and well. It’s quite clean, I didn’t step into any poop myself but I did see some dry ones which weren’t picked up by some but they were old. The grass is good length, what I am trying to say that this place is very well looked after. Will be visiting again for sure. There are no toilets for people.

Wasn't easy to find on foot, hoped for a sign. The dogs absolutely loved Run Free! Great view of Aberdeen from Blackdog field. We will definitely be using Run Free again. Can't wait till summer, a few friends with our doggies - with picnic table and shelter. Can't wait to go back

great place to let your pet off the lead in a safe environment for the first time, my puppy loved the agility course and can't wait to take her back again!

Great place and never feel secure about letting my dog off his lead but had no worries here and he thoroughly enjoyed himself will be back soon

We have used the field twice and highly recommend to anyone training their dog off the lead. The facility is immaculate with a hut and picnic table and a fenced area similar in size to a football field . Booking online was easy and great value for money.

  2. Chris Moore ★★★☆☆

A nicely presented field and good open space with minimal obstructions. However the fences are not 6ft as advertised and are not deer fencing which is an issue for Greyhounds and may be for other large dogs as well, and is of additional concern as there is a dual carriageway very close to the field. Also, there is another dog park within 50m which is in plain view and may upset dogs with behavioural issues if both are in use at the same time.
