Dear journey al la cart I just wanted to say a huge thankyou for putting together our Egyptian Trip Wow Wow Wow everything was just amazing.We have all had the best holiday ever. Our Transfers were the best I have ever had ; The guides did not wait in arrivals; with a board they had got through to baggage collection and even knew which belt our luggage was on. The hotel at Giza was superb and they could not do enough for us. We even had a joining rooms which was nice. We visited GEM The Grand Egyptian Museum which is mind blowing in size and really can't be appreciated in a day. We visited the Pyramids, had camel rides, saw the Sphinx, visited a Papayas works and of course the obligatory Perfume factory, another full day to the valley of the kings ,other tombs and temples and the ancient city of Memphis and Sagara all of which we did Via Viator who also did not disappoint. A little confused to the ancient history of gods and kings but such fun trying to learn, at least we learnt how to say, "No Thank you" In Arabic in the bustle and hustle of the souks Our flight to Luxor was again changed this time to 6.30pm which gave us the chance to go by our selves to Cairo and the old antiquity museum and see the artifacts of Tutankhamun . Once on the Sonesta Moon Goddess boat, we had more Wow Wow Wow moments nothing was too much trouble, I have never met such attentive staff from the cabin guys to waiters to management just bowled over with the service, The food was superb and what choices we even had entertainment in the evenings and one night a huge BBQ on deck. Our Egyptologist, " Waylead " was so knowledgeable so attentive so caring and we had him all to ourselves all week, on board and off what a joy he was, what a credit to his company. Nothing, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. I wanted to bring him home with us.!!! Lol Despite the heat which we just about managed, ( high 40s ) It has been the most fantastic trip and thank you and your company for organising it. You did not disappoint years ago when you organised for me Vietnam and Cambodia and this was just as perfect a holiday as that was, J ala Carte you are simply the best travel agent by far and as soon as ££ allow I will be back for you to sort me another adventure Kind regards and a million thank You's for our amazing holiday . Claire took genuine interest in us to understand how best to tailor our holiday to Australia and Singapore. The itinerary she created was perfect. Flights, connections, drivers and trips were all excellent. We received a file with all the details which were excellent and the guide book a nice touch. Highly recommended and they are already working on our next adventure
We have 3 children and it can be difficult to find a hotel to accommodate 3 children. Booking a holiday on the internet seemed quite a mindfield with massive differences in price and reviews; to get the right holiday can take hours of research. I approached Claire at Journeys a la Carte and she listened to our do's and dont's. She quickly sent us a few options to choose from. Once we had decided, Claire dealt with everything, the booking, online check in, special requests at the hotel to even printing out our boarding passes. We had an amazing family holiday and the hotel/resort was perfect. We made memories to last a lifetime. I would highly recommend Journeys a la Carte, completely hassle free and excellent experience.
