   Our son gave us a voucher as a Xmas present but due to English weather it was the 5th time of booking that the flight took place. We met at Tissington and helped the team (Andy, Joe and Kitt) set up the Balloon, good fun, and also had a safety briefing. The take-off was slow but you soon realised you were a couple of hundred feet up. Andy our pilot was informative, pointing out villages, places of interest and constantly monitoring wind and direction. The flight was smooth and except for the burners, quiet. We felt completely safe and at ease with Andy. Then came landing, that was a gentle bump then down. We also helped put the balloon away before returning to Tissington Hall. There was a video and photos for sale which are worth the very good price of £20. All in all, it was a Fantastic day out that we wouldn't hesitate to do again.

   Outstanding from start to finish. Very clear communication of where and when to meet, and expected weather. Really enjoyable to be involved in getting the balloon ready and then putting it away after the flight. Great views over Tissington and the Peak District. Andy, Dave and the team were all fantastic. Made it huge fun and informative. Cannot recommend highly enough.

   We had the most amazing experience with Wickers World from start to end! It was pure magic. Our pilot Joe was fantastic. It was great to learn about his flying journey and grateful for his wisdom and navigation through the Peak District. We loved the fact that Wickers World is a family run business with many years of experience and history passed down from generation to generation. The customer service was excellent. I'm pretty sure we will be back in the air at another time in the future!

   Amazing sunrise experience from Tissington today. We booked 2 years ago and having had 12 failed attempts (due to unsettled weather) it was most definitely worth the wait. I would like to say thank you for the 12 cancellations (bet you don’t get that often haha!) as it means you have put our safety first which I massively appreciate! This company’s Knowledgeable and friendly staff made the flight memorable and provided an overall fantastic experience from booking stage to the flight going ahead! Thank you again, we can’t wait to book again!

   Myself and my girls have had the most amazing experience today. The team is fantastic. On arrival we helped with the balloon. The team put everyone at ease. The flight was the best, the weather was stunning. The captain Andy was very knowledgeable about everything we could see. I can't wait to do it again. They even send you pictures and a full video at a very cheap price of £20 absolutely brilliant!!! Thanks for an amazing day today ☺️

   Me and my wife flew yesterday and it was our first time, the experience was amazing from start to finish, Jon was our pilot and he makes you feel relaxed and enjoy your trip, I thought it was good they record everything on a go pro and take snap shots aswell which you can buy at the end on a memory stick for only £20, this makes it even easier than trying to record on your phone. I would definitely do this again, thank you to Jon and the ground team for all your hard work. James and Dani

   I would give WIckers World 6 stars if I could - we had such a brilliant balloon experience with them. Life was made very difficult with the pandemic but we were regularly informed and updated throughout. They don't lie when saying you may need to book numerous attempts before being successful - I think we eventually got out flight on our 6th booking. We read all of the information and were more than happy and prepared for this eventuality so I found it contributed toward excitement on the day. We met early in the chilly but sunny field and after witnessing the inflation and safety brief we were soon floating above the glorious Cotswolds. Jon our pilot was professional, charming and incredibly knowledgeable with all questions answered in- depth and enthusiastically. I could listen to his anecdotes for days. The flight itself was such a surreal experience, it is so calm and quiet because you're flying with the wind and understanding how the balloon actually works contributes toward the experience. If I could go and work for them I really would - I can't wait to go flying agin sometime soon!
