Why'll machines are decent junior customers not allowed to have their phone out in the gym or use any machines upstairs
Extremely expensive gym with inflexible and short opening times. This gym is not meant for people with jobs and active lives. The staff is extremely rude and will literally kick people out of the gym if you stay 1 minute over their closing time
I did swimming lessons here,it was good at start but,pools suddenly overflow,causing swimming lessons to be delayed or cancelled,it was a waste of money,they don’t let children have holidays during summer they continue swimming lessons but if they don’t go they still have to pay which is unfair for children and families,this is why I have left the swimming sessions and haved moved to a bigger centre and more activities
I booked lane swimming here as I used to use the facilities with school and were very good. However, on the app I paid £5.80 for a lane swim, I got all prepared and made my way there just to be told the lane swim is in the shallow end and therefore isn’t swimable?. The lady at reception refused to give me a refund and told me I should have read the information on the app properly. Which I had done, in which the information on the app said “main pool 1” and mentioned nothing about it being shallow waters. Here’s to say I will not be coming again.
Approaching 4 months and the lifts are still out of service . Terrible that it can take this long. If they didn't have stairs this would have been a priority for them but they clearly don't care for disabled people and mothers with prams.
Why is the health suite now closed during the day? Does anyone know? I was a pay as you go customer, but sadly due to the changes I simply can't attend. What a shame, as this place was leagues above the dysmal aquadrome, now they're in the same league and battling for bottom place. Both useless. Such a let down.
Sadly, with the change over company, the atmosphere has changed. All the trainers have changed, and the rehabilitation classes have been reduced to a few a week. There are not enough rehabilitation trainers at the moment, and there are no real signs of that changing soon.
I would give 0 stars, but that isn’t an option. I’d like to start with the fact that I am already paying the higher price (£40) to get access to the ladies gym at ALL times and not within selected timings. But, the ladies gym has different opening times, as of 19th Dec, and they now shut between 10am-3pm. This defeats the purpose of my membership and I am not happy. Also, the ladies gym is closed on Saturday and Sundays… so what is the point of me paying £40 to be able to use this womens only gym whenever I would like to?
Since the new "better" company has taken over it is going down hill the price of the membership has increased, the opening hours of the spa has reduced it is not open on the weekends at all. You would think with a big new company taking over they would maybe upgrade the spa facilities but no its just a money grabing company!
This centre has gone downhill since the ironically named 'Better' took over. The place is overrun with kids lolling about on the machines while looking at their phones, there are no paper towels to wipe down the machines any more, and Better seem to be using youngsters on minimum wage to staff the place. The place just doesn't feel as friendly, helpful and considerate as it used to. It's just a run of the mill, dirty gym now.
