Friendly staff and great medicine availability. My local pharmacy has difficulty sourcing some items, which B A Christie pharmacy manages to fulfil. They call to advise items are in (as I have to travel) and I always have a good banter with the staff - very friendly. Pleasure to visit. ;)
Hi, my name is Linda Steven and I thought I’d write a quick review about the amazingly kind staff at this chemist in Bucksburn. So my dad Robert is an old man with prostate cancer and needs quite a lot of medication. He’s with the Gilbert Road surgery so they send his prescriptions to this chemist to prepare. The ladies here know my dad and have done for a long time well before my mother passed 2yrs ago. The staff have always shown care and support to my dad and are always so so kind to him. What we appreciate more than anything is how quick they get prescriptions ready for him it’s honestly like the doctor sends it over and within. A few hours his medication is ready for collection. The pharmacists are very informative and help when I’m struggling to explain meds to my dad and how to take them. I can honestly say I’ve never been into a pharmacy that shows so much interest and care while helping you as often in the big chemists you’re just a prescription but here they really get to personally know the people in the community who require their help no matter how big or small. The ladies at the counter are absolute angels as obviously my dad being so unwell this year I’ve saw them almost weekly and every single time these wonderful ladies are asking after dad and wishing him a speedy recovery. I have never had an issue getting medication that I need which is great as sometimes I need it urgently due to dads ever changing medication and health. I cannot rate this pharmacy highly enough and I would personally like to thank these ladies that go above and beyond to provide excellent service with the kindest attitudes. Myself and my dad appreciate you all.
So glad this is my local pharmacy. Always friendly and willing to help. Go above and beyond. Every member of staff show a genuine interest in any health concerns we have. Turn around of two days for prescriptions is amazing when hearing friends or family can wait a week! Gold star Christie’s!
Well just want to say how I’m so grateful to have such caring helpful people to help me whenever I need, I have various chronic illnesses and the pharmacy staff are so helpful, kind show an interest in how myself and my Daughter are doing.A few times also the chemists through the back have picked up that certain meds I’m on shouldn’t be taken at the same time as new meds prescribed allowing me to notify the doctors to prescribe something else, really nice speeding things through that may have been missed by GP practice when popping a large order through as human error can happen! Knowledgeable when I go to them about minor issues that I don’t need the GP for lady problems etc and prescribe what I need and can have knowing my health history! I feel they are another service that shows compassion and support to me anytime I go in and that really does make a huge difference when sometimes they could be the only human interaction you’ve had that day as you’ve not been having a good day. Very patient, helpful and understanding. Not just a dispensing chemist but a proper pharmacy who do their best to help in difficult situations. Not listed before but they close for lunch as shown on their door notice, 1pm-2pm.
Unpleasant rude staff trying to force customers to wear face masks and then asking them to wait outside in -1 degree temperatures when the don't.
They used to have nice staff at front desk, which has now changed and its rude and unpleasent. Pharmacy got refurbishment to look better but staff and atmosfer is so much worse. Also they shout out or ask information loud which and in front of other customers no regards for privacy, which is obviously very unpleasent and unprofesional. Almost feel like I am bothering them both at the front desk and some of the staff at the back too, even though not all, there is still some nice ladies you just have to pray they deal with you on the day. When you phone to check something you treated like you are stupid but when you come in and medication not there you get no help or if its not ready they let u know how busy they are. Overall staff should be nice and polied to customers, especially since you go to Pharmacy for medication you need to feel or get better, so kindness goes long way. There is no viliant policy against staff but same flier should say it also applies to customers from staff.
Very efficient and all items present after handing in prescriptions. Thank you will definitely use again rather poor service provider elsewhere in the city.
Shocking attitude from one of the pharmacists today regarding my husbands prescription being wrong through no fault of his own ( actually his GPS fault) stating he would NOT be getting any other emergency prescriptions if this was to happen again! what makes it worse is this was for bloody sugar testing strips for a type one diabetic, therefore could be life of death between his having them and not! Very poor customer service and attitude from this 'professional' formal complaint will be getting made! My advice, use another pharmacy, here screams incompetence and unprofessional!!
This has been my pharmacy for years, but lately their technical 'improvements' have turned the place into a shambles. I wanted to buy an over the counter product. I was asked a series of personal questions at the till in full ear shot of other customers. I was then invited into the advice room, bearing in mind I did not request a consultation. I was then asked the same questions, which were marked against a check list, and advised I needed antibiotics. I didn't want antibiotics and if I thought I needed them I would have spoken to my GP surgery. I finally got served the medication I asked for, 20 minutes later. These people are masquerading as doctors, which they are not! They should stick to serving customers and stop prescribing unnecessary medication
