Lovely walk location, reasonably busy so hard to park

We came here for a Scout nature hunt evening. There is free parking and plenty of wide open spaces. There are benches regularly spaced out and there is a nice river to walk along or let your dog in for a swim. At one end it leads to a childrens play park and there is a pub on the road. Would definitely recommend it.

Great place for kids spoilt only by the lack of any amenities. Well equipped well maintained play park easily accessible. Quite close to decent pub too.

A fairly new SANG put in place due to the huge amount of new housing being built nearby. It is a fairly large area with access to the river Whitewater at the lowest points. Great for dog dipping on hot days however the rest of the areas don't have any shade. If you stick to the boundary of the sang then a walk probably takes about 40 to 45 minutes but there are options to join up with other footpaths from various points in the park. Also access to the crooked billet pub which was always a nice spot for a sandwich overlooking the river but I noticed this is up for sale by the brewery. Dedicated carpark, a few bins but only near to the entrance & a few picnic tables & sitting benches dotted around. This park can get super muddy in winter especially at gateways between the different fields.

Beautiful place for walking my dog , he loves the stream and having a bench to sit and watch him paddle is super.

Nice walk around the meadow and along the River Whitewater. Good for dogs as they can get in the water if they want to. No poo bins on the route, but bins on the way in/out. Small car park by the housing area. The Crooked Billet pub is on the other side. Bassets Mead (another walk) is across the road.

A great place to walk the dogs, easy parking and lovely walks along the river bank and open meadow.
