   BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! In 2019 I was all set to go to Sri Lanka however due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to go. I was devastated and thought, worst case scenario I get a refund and best case scenario they change the trip to somewhere like Greece. What I did not expect was the ultimate scenario of them pulling off a quick change to INDIA!! Not ashamed to say I squealed publicly at finding out we were going to THE place I have always wanted to go. It only got better from there. Whilst in India we were able to see everything the country had to offer from their food to their beautiful temples, the people and just the organised chaos that is India. As well as experience the culture I was able to get hands-on experience working with Wildlife SOS to assist in the daily duties of caring for the rescued Sloth bears and Elephants. To top it off we were also able to see two wild Tigers and to the guides surprise a wild Sloth bear! The best thing about Flooglebinder though is the people; Brad and Ian worked hard to make this trip amazing through meticulous organising and planning so we were able to learn about the conservation efforts in Ranthambore and the benefits of camera trapping. Having a memorable experience and learning is a main priority of Flooglebinder however I deeply appreciate the efforts they go to, to ensure sustainability and limit plastic waste where they can.

   I cannot recommend flooglebinder enough, I went on a trip to South Africa in 2019 and it was honestly one of the best and most memorable experiences. The trip was planned out perfectly, I have some food allergies and Ian helped me with that. Everywhere we stayed everyone was so nice and welcoming, Ian made sure we were always all looked after and safe, making sure our needs were met. These experiences are the kind of experiences you remember for the rest of your life and smile when you look back and think about them. I hope to book a future trip with flooglebinder as there are so many options for locations of travel with the company and more unique experiences.

   In 2019 animal management students from Northumberland college, were incredibly lucky to be given the opportunity to head to Italy to take part in a marine conservation camp dedicated to scientific research and training. On the trip, students were able to get involved with cetacean sightings and identification, DNA sampling (non-invasive), acoustic monitoring, water quality samples, micro and macro plastic surveys, turtle rescue and rehabilitation and academic lectures. All this, along with sightseeing, volcano climbing, museum trips and sampling the local cuisine, made for an educational and extremely rewarding trip. The staff from Flogglebinder and Jonian Dolphin Conservation were so knowledgeable, fun and all-round AMAZING, making the trip utterly unforgettable.    South Africa trip! AMAZING! Would highly recommend. After spending three weeks in Africa, gaining an insight into field guiding, I am now pursuing a career in guiding, all thanks to Flooglebinder. The trip was jam packed with new experiences, most unexpected and it was fun all the way through! We got to assist in a rhino darting and spent most of the time tracking animals, and enjoying our time by the camp fire in the evenings. We gained qualifications in tracking and first aid. Ian (co-founder of flooglebinder) spent much of the trip with us which made it more personal. I would definitely like to join other trips in the future. They really care about wildlife and conservation and sustainable tourism. Thank you so much for the experience!

   I could not recommend Flooglebinder enough! They are a fantastic company. From the day I found out about the trip to South Africa that they offer for students I was hooked! Throughout the process of booking the trip Ian was always updating me on any information for the trip including flights and activities that will take place and what I need for my trip of a lifetime! I always felt supported and safe and like I could ask any questions which would always be replied to quickly. The trip itself was out of this world, everyday was full of education, excitement, adventure and something different everyday. I cannot wait to travel with Flooglebinder again!

   I can safely say that my student experience in Thailand with Flooglebinder was like none other! When I first met Brad and Ian way back in 2015, I felt instantly assured that my first solo trip abroad would be a great one, and it was clear to see their dedication and passion for conservation and education. My three week experience on the mainland and then onto Koh Tao, was what led me to further my studies the following year at university. I actually returned to Thailand in 2019 to collect my dissertation research. Since my studies, I was lucky enough to undertake an internship with Flooglebinder, so that I could continue my love for marine conservation.
