   Fantastic experience. Really interesting tour of the house by Ale who was a SUPERB host. So enthusiastic and welcoming. The house and grounds are beautiful. So much information on the history, development, the family and the estate's importance in the local community. All topped off with a lovely lunch of local food. Such a historic estate and the star of many films and series. A bonus to a huge Eagle Has Landed fan to see the location up close including the house, the Mill amd the Church. Also to see some of the film props up close. Thank you Ale. Highly Recommended

   Very beautiful place! Did a 15km walk as part of walk for wards fundraising event. Its a hidden gem far away from the city. Great option to relax.

   Cream tea was lovely, no tours going on at present so just looked around after the tea. Mapledurham house is being refurbished so closed to the public.

   A lovely place with a lot of interesting history. Its not massive but the collection makes a nice afternoon out. There are regular food festivals and historic events. It makes a beautiful setting for weddings with the church next door.

   Really beautiful historic site. Well worth a walk around the grounds. The mill is really remarkably. We went on the boat and enjoyed that as well. The tea house was a nice break with very good cakes.

   Nice place to visit. The house has an interesting history, with an eclectic mix of objects and some good paintings. However access is limited to less than ten rooms. The location is lovely with lots of space to walk and picnic.
