It's a waterpark - which looks fun - but also a venue with a tropical vibe suitable for a large wedding or, in our case, wake. A good-sized indoor marquee-style dining room (pictured) and larger outdoor area with picnic tables and parasols.

Arrived at Lagoona today and it was a pleasant experience and all was going well until we walked down towards the pedalos and I was in absolute horror it was a massive cat litter beach of sand! It’s was vile just cat and fox faeces everywhere! The lovely girl who helped us explained and tried saying it was bird poo but this just isn’t sanitary at all it’s unsafe for children who are around and should be cleaned asap! And kept clean regularly, not only that but unfortunately in 28 degree heat this also attracts flys! Get it sorted out!!! ASAP! Other than that staff were all nice and helpful

The kids had an absolute blast great location and staff. Better to wear beach shoes or grippy socks though. You can buy these there and you will need a padlock for the lockers you can buy these for £4. Well recommend trying here for kids and teenagers.

We had a nice day at Lagoona Park overall, but there were a few things worth noting for future visitors. The lake itself looks clean and well-kept, with the blue dye in the water (used to help kill weeds etc.), which gave it a bright, inviting appearance. The mini beach area is a lovely touch — part of the lake is cordoned off to create a little beach that’s great for both kids and adults to paddle and relax. The stone car park is a good size, but it does fill up quickly, so arrive early if you want a decent spot. Unfortunately, the site overall didn’t feel very disabled- or pushchair-friendly. There are a lot of steps, and I struggled quite a bit with my twin pushchair. The café is located up a flight of stairs, so I couldn’t access it with the buggy. That said, there is a nice snack shack that overlooks the lake, with picnic benches and sun umbrellas providing shade — which was a great spot to relax. I only realized after leaving that there’s actually disabled parking right at the entrance to Lagoona Park and a wooden gate that leads directly to the picnic area by the lake. Had I known, I would’ve used that instead of struggling with the steps. It really could be signposted much more clearly. As for the inflatable water park, we pre-ordered a wetsuit for my nephew, but the staff said the water was warm enough, so he went in with just his swim shorts. Unfortunately, we weren’t offered a refund for the unused wetsuit, so that felt like a bit of a waste (but that was more our fault). The life vest he wore rubbed on his chest and made it sore, so I’d recommend wearing a rash vest or swim shirt underneath. He also wore water shoes, but they weren’t really needed. My nephew is 12½ and had a fantastic time on the inflatables — definitely the highlight! However, the male lifeguard doing the safety talk lacked any enthusiasm and delivered the rules in a dull, disinterested tone, which didn’t set a great tone to start with. At the end he gave the ten minute warning and immediately told them to head to the exit. Some girls were by the exit and missed out on ten minutes of fun. All in all, Lagoona Park has a lovely setting and a good atmosphere. There’s definitely fun to be had, especially for older kids, but there are a few areas where improvements would make the experience smoother and more accessible for everyone.

My son had a fantastic time today at Lagoona Park. He had lots of fun on the floats. The lifeguards and other staff were very friendly. The place was very clean. There were lots of sitting areas for customers. Wonderful place. We spent the afternoon sitting outside with our picnic. We had a fabulous time.

We booked the new marquee venue for our wedding in June & what a fantastic time we had. From the day I booked it, Katie was brilliant & very accommodating. If I ever wanted to come up to sort things out or plan it with her it was never a problem. She was quick to respond to any questions & always put my mind at rest. On our actual wedding day Katie, Jamie & their staff went above & beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us & that it was. We could not have asked for a better day. It was totally worth the wait seeing as we had rolled over for 2 yrs due to covid. This was our 3rd (& final) date likewise with the venue so I was so glad that we came across this little gem. We had the weather at a great location, happy guests, great food, beautifully decorated venue which included balloon arches (done by Katie) & music which had everybody dancing. I would highly recommend the marquee venue for any private function. Can't wait to go back to enjoy the water park during Summer holidays & see the lovely Katie & her staff again. Thank you once again for making our wedding day so enjoyable & special.

I took my children to celebrate end of football seasons for their football team. They took part in water activities. Everything is very well organized. Safety briefings, floating jackets, helmets etc. They all had great fun whilst us the parents enjoyed a variety of drinks available from the bar. It is very clean. Bar & Restaurant available to cater every needs.

Great bit of fun. Its like buying a German car everything is an extra/ lockers/ wetsuit. not big money £3 each if memory is correct. The car park is quite ruff so if you have a lowered car be warned especially at the entrance. There is an outside bar/garden which we was told you need to buy an extra ticket for.
