   Just finished our trip on the Shropshire union canal (party of 6) lovely and relaxing. The blokes at the boat yard were really accommodating and knowledgeable. Hand over was quick and smooth. We have been on a few canal holidays and I would say this boat was looking a tad tired and in need of an update. It also wasn't cleaned very well. It had a very strong smell of wet dog on board. I appreciate people take their pets and that's fine but the boat smelt, we found the culprits which were the 2 throws wrapped around the seating, they were very grubby. Once we removed them the smell disappeared. There were toast crumbs in the grill tray and the cooker hob was greasy. There was also masses of cobwebs along the full length of the boat. They hadn't appeared overnight they'd been there a while.

   We had a lovely midweek holiday. We rented the Osney boat, which was perfect for two of us. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We’d not done a narrow boat holiday before but we’ll definitely do one again!

   A brilliant holiday on a lovely boat “killington from bunbury . Spotless boat with lovely fluffy towels and everything you need for a great experience . Our fridge broke on route but we rang the boat yard and they arranged for the staff at Trevor boat yard to fix it and they did it and replaced the fridge in no time and we were very pleased with how good they all were . Would highly recommend Anglo Welsh and would like to say thank you to all the staff at Trevor and Banbury x

   What a brilliant team of helpful staff members here at Bunbury locks, they are very friendly and welcoming. Tony and Harry really went the extra mile for us and stayed on after their shifts were finished as we were first timers and quite nervous about doing the staircase lock! Thanks guys, you made our holiday trouble free and gave us confidence with your excellent tuition :) Would definitely use again :)

   Whilst we were only passing in our own boat, and not hiring from these guys, I cannot rate them highly enough. Not only did Ed come out and help with the locks but we had long discussions about shared ownership, in which we would like to become involved. He gave us all sorts of information with the result that we will be coming to them for fit out, moorings and everything else. What a credit to the company and an income generator to boot.    First time on canal, narrow boat, after Portugal cancelled. Three night stay on boat, took it from Bunbury to Chester and back. Family of 5 and Black Labrador. Staff excellent, great tuition, everything you need to know, 10 Berth boat, with everything you need, clean and cosy. Great pubs along the way with lovely food. Some excellent scenery, lovely to go a nice pace in life, when usually so hectic! Would definitely use again, great for friendship, families, teamwork. Met some lovely friendly people along the way, we all had a fantastic time and we will be back in the very near future. Thankyou anglowelsh, from the Scott family.

   We hired Star dance boat from Bunbury base for long weekend in July, really good handover. Boat was very clean and had all the essentials needed. We took the boat down to Chester and back up past the base and turned back and moored up above the locks. Staff really friendly, very professional and helpful. A great experience with Anglo Welsh, got next trip booked for 1 week at their Oxford base in September
