    I always found Exodus to be a characterful club that played a good mix of rock and pop music. They formerly had dedicated nights for 80s, motown/soul, metal, indie etc and occasionally hosted live bands. Sadly, they’ve struggled to evolve as times have gotten harder for UK venues. In August 2023 they rebranded as XO to modernise their image. In July 2024, the whole venue was refurbished and turned into Popworld (both Triple Kirks / Exodus and the Popworld chain are owned by Stonegate). This was a MAJOR flop. Six months later they reopened as The Loft, but most of the Popworld decor stayed behind and the place felt confused. In September 2025 they refurbished once more to reopen as Exodus. This Halloween I attended the ‘Nightmare on Belmont Street’ club night. The spooky decor was great. Staff were friendly - the girl who works the door is always lovely and, on past occasions, security have been prompt and respectful in dealing with troublemakers. They could have put more staff on the bar, as service did get slow at peak time with only one person serving. Some good deals on drinks, such as £2 for select mixers, although I’m not certain about the cost of pints. The photobooth is pricey at £6 a pop. The DJs here can be hit-or-miss and, this time, the DJ was disappointing. Every track was mixed into the next with a weird prolonged phaser effect; the flow was negatively impacted by chopping and changing between high-energy and slow songs; and he was a little bit rude to a couple of people in our group who tried to make requests. Overall - I’m happy that Exodus is back. It’s a good laugh, you can have a good night with £20, and you can be as casual or as dressed up as you like. However, it seems they still need to find their footing and rediscover their sense of identity.

    Went to go in 2 nights in a row, after looking on Google to see if it was open and seeing it was open 10 until 3 am, to get there and be told by the bouncer "not tonight" these were the dates of the 11th and 12th of July. Why weren't you open?

    Ace night had in pop world at the weekend. Good tunes and great bar staff. Shout out to Bryony and Joe who was amazing on the bar. Quick service. Will be back
