I got stared by two men, one of them stopped looking at me after I put a boundary regarding my drinking and the other guy was looking at me and when I went to smoke with my friends the guy went outside. The drinks are also expensive.
Maybe just getting old, but music was way too loud - friend and I couldn't hear each other. Had 1 drink and left. Shame, because is the last true LGBTQ venue in Aberdeen. Could be a lot better.
It would bee the first that i whant to go bar like this and my question is.... If i dress me like not a man, more prety... Sorry but i dont want to look like a person witch is in stokings and a good show top. For cath some nice good time. So i dont want to look dressed man in a pub and Just look on me...
Disappointing Stay Despite Some Smart Features Short: This place could be decent with some serious attention to cleaning, maintenance, and guest comfort. Unfortunately, our experience felt more like staying in an overlooked student flat than a proper serviced apartment. Would not recommend unless management makes significant improvements. FULL REVIEW: I stayed at CHEERZ Apartment with my girlfriend for a short trip, and while the apartment had some positives, the overall experience was unfortunately let down by very poor cleanliness and maintenance. Positives: Convenient Location: Very close to the train station, which made it easy to get around. Modern Touches: Philips Hue smart lighting and smart key cards for room access were a nice tech-savvy touch. TV and Space: The room was a decent size with a functional TV. Renovated Kitchen: Looked fairly modern and had potential if better maintained. Negatives: Cleaning Was a Major Issue: The bathroom and room were dirty on arrival. We found used plasters, hair, and overflowing rubbish bins in the bathroom, including menstruation products—completely unacceptable. Unclean Environment: Edges of the room hadn’t been cleaned in a long time—we ended up vacuuming ourselves. The staircase had visible food scraps and dirt. Lack of Kitchen Essentials: There were no bowls and generally not enough cooking/eating equipment. The kitchen floor was cluttered with cleaning supplies that made it hard to move around. Broken or Faulty Fixtures: The window didn’t open at all, and the blinds were broken—either stuck or not fully closing. Noisy Surroundings: The bar directly underneath was constantly loud, especially at night, which made it hard to sleep. Shabby Area: The neighborhood didn’t feel particularly safe or welcoming.
Went there on a Saturday night, crowd started to pour in around 11pm. Mostly hen and a handful of LGBTQ+, no problem getting a drink at the bar just have to be patient on a busy night. My partner have decided to stay for 2 more drinks because the music was so good. Lovely and fun crowd. Not sure about the toilet attendant in the toilet.
A decent bar considering there’s no alternatives in the area. Staff are friendly, and it’s always good to see regular faces. However, its a shame that verbal altercations / discomfort experienced visitors is mostly met by passive and unbothered security / staff who don’t resolve issues when they arise, and overly antisocial and drunk punters not being removed which ruins the fun for everyone else. More attentive security who are vigilant of / listen to issues and act on them would be welcomed and make the bar a lot nicer place to spend your money. If you don’t mind playing safety roulette, the bar can be a decent night out, especially since the music has drastically improved in the last few weeks. Hopefully some improvements to security to come.
Drinks are pricey but the staff are lovely and it has a great atmosphere. A few too many “creepy old men” starting to frequent which ruins it for the younger girls they prey on but plenty of people looking out for eachother. Staff are very vigilant and will remove unattended drinks, door staff are usually really friendly, unlike the rest in aberdeen. Absolutely a safe and fun place to go!

I love it here and I really feel accepted and safe when I visit its a lovely atmosphere and the staff are lovely. The staff also learn and look out for you to make sure you dont end up drinking when down or depressed, the staff her are wonderful people and it feels like they really have been through everything.
Have been let in twice with YoungScots card as identification, but been denied entry other times with it. Very flimsy system that depends on who is manning door on what day.
