I had been looking for a company to clean my carpets and came across Neil and Son Cleaning via a Google search. On checking their business Facebook page, I found a series of anti-refugee, anti-LGBTQ and misogynistic posts shared. Not a business I would be willing to support with my custom.
Lawrence came yesterday to clean the downstairs carpets and I have nothing but the highest praise for him. The result is so impressive - he managed to remove marks that I thought would be permanent. He was conscientious, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Outstanding job!
Absolutely guts me to write this review as William who comes to clean my carpet was a really nice guy but once he had gone and the carpet was dry the next day I contact Neil and told him about a stain that was left really bad on my carpet he said this must’ve been something has come through from the underlay ie the stain has bled through . and I said to him it looks like something been sprayed on it and forgot that patch so I had to use my VAX and went over this area and even parts in my hallway that was not cleaned properly and this morning the patches have gone. Neil did offer to contact him in a few weeks as they are so busy for them to come back which is not a brilliant solution when you’ve been left with a stain on your carpet that was a tiny stain to begin with. I feel like he just fobbed me off when I tried to message him regarding this. Not great customer service

A year after getting a puppy we really needed all our carpets and rugs cleaned. Contacted Neil & Son who were quick to respond with a competitive quote. Carpets cleaned today and look like new. All horrid pet stains gone like magic. Neil was very friendly, professional and offered advice for maintaining the carpets and dealing with pet stains in the future. Very happy and highly recommend.
Amazing miracle performed on my carpet today. After my daughter played with the halloween make up on the bedroom carpet I thought we'd have to replace it. However someone suggested I called Neil, he responded promptly and got my carpet looking brand new in less than 15 minutes. Genuinely, I think its cleaner now than It was brand new!
I had some nasty stains on the carpet and contacted Neil to see if he could sort them out. He felt that a deep clean may not be enough to remove them, so a new carpet is the only option. I highly recommend Neil on the basis of his honesty and professional assessment and will be using him for sure for future carpet cleaning jobs.
