My children loved attending Great Western Kingswells and now that they are school they still talk about their time there. The environment is so nurturing and children’s interests are incorporated into daily play activities. The staff truly care about the children they care for each day and they are happy to spend time speaking with you at pick up sharing little stories about what your child was doing that day. The menu is very varied and I loved that my children got to try foods they usually wouldn’t have at home. The children go for walks and explore the local community and once in the preschool class can experience forest school sessions and also woodworking which my daughter absolutely adored. The staff are so passionate and enthusiastic and provide such high standards of care and learning which made the transition to p1 that much easier. Thank you Great Western for the warm and nurturing care you provided for my children. Forever thankful!

Absolutely amazing bunch of people that run this place! In such a short 4 months of my little boy attending this nursery he has come on massively in his social skills and so so much more. He grew so many bonds with both workers (which made him feel safe with all the separation anxiety he had!) and children and has now followed to primary 1 with many friends and so much confidence. I thank every member of staff within Great Western for helping myself and my wee boy grow in confidence during such a huge transition of moving to kingswells & starting primary 1. Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough if I tried let’s just put it that way! Thank you to all of you x

Our little girl started attending the nursery when she was 11 months old and she is now 2.She has developed amazingly on all aspects since then and has formed some nice bonds with the staff and the children .She speaks about the staff and the children while at home and everywhere she goes ,she likes to show her “nursery book “ to all the people important to her ,which makes us so happy and fills us with immense joy . Great western nursery is definitely the best place for our little girl to be ,to develop and grow !! The staff are caring ,knowledgeable and inclusive ,and we cannot think of a better place for her to be while we are away working ! The management is always so helpful and approachable and the staff are just the best ! Having known and been in other nurseries ,we can happily say that there is no better place than Great Western for our little girl . i worked their for a year and i loved it couldn't fault anything. made amazing friends and made a whole new family. the owners are amazing people to work for and due to me moving away for family reasons i would not have left , if i was to every come back i would defiantly be knocking on their door. amazing people to work for. the care and love for all the children and the learning provided is at a very high standard and it was a pleasure to be involved in this. only the best for the children.
