This is a wonderful shop with superb helpful staff. Paul, one of their designers made me a beautiful pair of earrings and a gorgeous ring. Many thanks, cheered me up no end when I received them just before Christmas.
I recently ordered two charms with necklaces from this jeweler. One necklace was new and in good condition. The other in real-life looks black, oxidation set-in. These are supposed to be Christmas gifts so I reported the concern. They didn't care because they get so much business. They wanted me to pay to ship the items back with no guarantee of resolving the issue. Meanwhile what about a video call if photos aren't enough or better yet, check all metals before shipment. Unprofessional and expensive for poor quality and customer service.
Had an absolute nightmare with this jewellers. Terrible customer service backed up with shocking communication. I kept calling this shop to find out what was happening with the repair on my Dads watch but nobody seemed to know anything about it. I was promised call backs to let me know but it was always myself making the calls. It was so bad I presumed at one point that they had lost the watch. 12 weeks later and my Dads watch is finally ready to collect even though no repair had been carried out. Collected the watch today with no apologies for the poor communication and comedy of errors. However they did refund the £40 delivery fee. I will hopefully never have to deal with this shop ever again.
Flawless in their customer service, patience, helpfulness and warmth. I bought a ring from here in August and Pam was wonderful. I told her what I was looking for and was patient in my fussiness to make sure I got a ring that was perfect for me. I visited other jewellery shops in Whitby and I bet they wish they had half the professionalism and care that I experienced at C W Sellors. I'm based on the South coast so won't have an opportunity any time soon to return to Whitby, but if I do I'll make sure to visit C W Sellors again. Highly recommended.
Avoid!! Ordered a clock online in early June 2025 as a birthday gift and settled with my credit card. There was no indication of any likely delays but the order was not dispatched. Chased multiple times only to be reassured. Two months later, I asked for delivery within the week or the order to be cancelled. Still no delivery and no cancellation. Filed for a charge back with my credit card company. The clock was dispatched the following day.
I recently purchased some lovely Georg Jenson earrings from this company at a great sale price.. They arrived promptly and well wrapped.. I had a small issue of a loose butterfly back on one earring which was sorted by Kristie who was very friendly and helpful, sent me a return postage label, she made it all so easy and I now have them back… Perfect! I would recommend and they have some fabulous jewellery on their website, so I will be back for more. Thanks you
So, CW Sellors with Jura watches is an awesome brand. They were so patient and helpful to me. I was always wondered about their extremely wide selection of products and the quality of their service, whether it is direct selling, offering loan or managing other special request of a customer. After many years this is my favourite company. I’m thankful and I’m looking forward to continue this great connection with them.
I honestly couldn't be more disappointed with the service I have received with C W Sellors. I ordered a watch under the impression it would arrive in 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed, no watch. I contacted them to understand where my watch was and was told it would take another 6 to 8 weeks. 6 weeks passed, I contacted C W Sellors again to understand where my watch was and was told it would be another 5 weeks. At this point I canceled my order and requested a refund for my deposit. I was told it would take 7 to 10 working days. I am still waiting for my deposit with no communication from C W Sellors. Please buy your valuables from another retailer.
Worst customer communications and items I have ever experienced. A watch bought for my partner’s 40th has spent more time in the repairs department than on his arm in the first 18 months of owning, with three returns for the same condensation problem below (would you have this watch for £400 with a recurrent condensation issue?). Countless attempts to contact by phone and email, with no replies, no response to requests for call backs, or the provision of repair reports. I have no trust in this watch or this company. They are now trying to decline a refund requested nearly 6 months ago with inaccurate information.
I had been looking to purchase a Longines Hydroconquest in two tone rose gold for sometime. After doing some research I found one on another website at a lower than advertised price on their jura watches website. This was no problem as they matched the lower price with their price match promise and luckily had one in stock at their Chesterfield branch which was quickly sent over to my nearest local branch in Ashbourne for me to view. If you've seen a watch on their website and you're a little unsure or have any questions, just drop them an email, I conversed with Fin who got me a great watch at a fantastic price and that's not to mention the service I also received from cw sellors of Ashbourne when collecting my timepiece which was impeccable. Nothing was too much trouble even down to resizing the bracelet. Of course you can order online for next day home delivery pending stock but I preferred to have it delivered to a local store in order to view before purchasing. One very satisfied customer and i highly recommend.
