Had breakfast at Café Bistro Lagoa this morning, and honestly it was way better than I expected. I just wanted something simple to start the day, so I went for toast, turkey bacon, eggs, and a glass of orange juice. Nothing fancy, but everything came out tasting really good. It actually felt like someone took their time making it instead of rushing it out like some cafés do early in the morning. The place itself has a chill vibe. When I walked in, it wasn’t packed or noisy, just a nice mix of people eating and minding their own business. The staff were cool too—friendly, not over the top, and they took my order without making it awkward or rushed. The food came out quicker than I expected, which was a nice surprise. The turkey bacon was cooked perfectly, not too crispy but not floppy either. The toast had a good crunch to it, and the eggs were exactly how I like them—simple, warm, and actually seasoned. The orange juice tasted fresh and not like that syrupy stuff some cafés use. Altogether it was just a proper, satisfying breakfast. I ended up hanging around for a bit after eating because the place was comfortable and not stressful at all. It’s the kind of café you can pop into for a quick breakfast and actually enjoy it. Overall, Café Bistro Lagoa was a great shout for the morning. Good food, easy atmosphere, and no hassle. I’d definitely go back again.

Was recommended this spot by chatGPT (which is great as I'd never have found it on my own). So glad I took the recommendation too! Perfect flat white and delicious pastel de nata, with lovely, warm and efficient service.

Cafe Bistro Lagoa offers a delightful experience that's hard to beat. During my visit, I enjoyed a lovely mocha that was perfectly crafted—a true treat for the taste buds. Sitting outside in the sunshine added to the charm, creating a relaxing and serene atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable with their welcoming and attentive service. Whether you're after a great cup of coffee or just a cozy spot to bask in the sun, Cafe Bistro Lagoa is definitely worth a visit!

Really lovely experience. We were students from Paris and we just decided to pop by for a quick bite to eat and they were really welcoming to us, despite us not knowing what options there were to eat. The quiches were lovely and the Portuguese tarts were amazing!

I was in Luton for a few hours and I visited this little independent coffee shop to get my caffeine fix and I was hoping also for some pastries. The Portuguese lady working there was really friendly and the place was cozy decorated with pictures of Portugal and I also liked the table outside with mosaics. The coffee was good but not the in the top best tasting coffees I ever had and also there were no vegan option at all, hence I give only 4 stars as I reserve my 5 stars for the best coffee and also for a place with vegan options. My friends tasted some of the non vegan pastries and myself I went to to nearest mall to to eat something vegan.
