Had a lesson here, family of three plus a random person (were not expecting a fourth person, but fair enough). Scott was lovely and took us as he found us. Good lesson in just under an hour. Now feel confident we could hire sit-on-top kayaks and have fun on the water.
Had a fantastic morning here doing paddle boarding. My fiancée and I hired the large paddle board (2-4 people) for £35 for an hour. Wet suits and life jackets were provided and we're in good condition. Changing available on site and free lockers for your valuables. Staff members were super helpful and friendly. The paddle boarding was really fun, be prepared to fall in if you're new to it. We both fell in several times but the wet suits keep you nice and warm and it was great fun. I would definitely do this again!
I have fished here for several years and have never been disapointed, great facilities and good fishing. Aug. 2022, fished it today, water was very low and few fish caught, I managed only one. .
Excellent service!! I hired a bicycle, and they only took like 10 minutes to replace my bike without any quibbles when the chain got stuck in the the pedal cogs! Lovely morning out on the bike trails!

Lovely place for walking , family picnic, BBQs, cycling, water activities, adventure play area, shops cafes. Great day out.
One lovely walk... if you have the stamina. It's the better part of 10miles (felt like more). And on a sunny day you simply cannot beat it. It's fun, healthy and free (except the car park £2). The views are really nice and so is the children's play area. It's surprisingly clean for the amount of visitors, food is decent and reasonably priced.
