   Very rude assistant. Totally ignored me whilst dealing with another customer. I understand that he needed to do a first come first served, but he didn't even acknowledge my existence. Stood like a lemon for five minutes, then walked out, with no apparent comment. Went to the one further in town, who were more polite.

   I placed an order for a set of Hope E-bike cranks in July 2023 and paid via PayPal. The item was never delivered. After I was informed that the product was out of stock and the lead time would be 8–12 weeks, I immediately cancelled my order. Despite this, I never received a refund. I followed up several times by email – including in July 2024 and again in August 2025 – but received no response at all. To this day, I have neither received the item nor a refund. I strongly advise against ordering from this company, as they appear to ignore both customer service and refund obligations.

   I find their website is a real pain. Often the card payment doesn't work and when buying small Hope spares it tries to charge me £35 for "bike delivery" and gives no other option. I end up buying from them via ebay, at least then you're in control if anything goes wrong.

   I was sent a wrong part in my order. (Easily done as the look similar. ) The person who answered the phone was very apologetic and sent me the correct part first class that day and I received it the next day with a payed for envelope to send the incorrect one back. First class customer service. Thank you.

   I received great service here, so very surprised to read all the poor comments. After much research I'd decided to buy a Giant Avail Liv and was struggling to find one in my size. It was in stock here but I was hesitant due to the poor reviews. Anyway I went over to Buxton to look at the bike, service was perfect for me - answered all my questions but no hard sell. Now had bike 6 months and it's great. Took it back for first service and he spent ages talking me through tubeless tyres, chain management etc. I'm very pleased I went here.

   Went in today for the first time, what a pleasant experience! Plenty of stock with amazing quality parts. The lad who served me was very friendly and very helpful. Price checked everything without me needing to ask. Bought DMR Deathgrips and some Deity Valve caps, will be returning for more! Strongly recommend this place for all mountain bikers! Best place in the North West by far!
