I damaged the fuel filter pipe work whilst changing the alternator on my car. I called Doctor Hood because changing the pipe work which ran most of the way to the fuel tank as a continuous pipe was not something I was willing to do myself. The pipe would have been very expensive from the main dealer but Vero was able to source a part at a much more reasonable price. He was able to replace the pipework, re-install the auxiliary belt (which I was having a lot of difficulty with) and get the car up and running again all on my driveway. I’ve been driving the car since and couldn’t be happier with the work done. The price charged was very reasonable and well worth it. I can highly recommend doctor hood and would definitely trust them to work on my car again in the future.

Excellent! Trustworthy, Friendly, and knows a lot about cars. My car engine started making clicking noises, I urgently needed to use it and my regular garage had no availability. Vero came round to my house within 30 mins and ran a diagnostic and told me it was the inlet manifold. He then took my car away and managed to fit a reconditioned part within 3 hours. The bill was reasonable and I received great advice and got shown why the old part had failed. The only reason I didn't give him 5 stars is he needs an online presence to make him seem credible to first time users. It was a bit of a leap of faith leaving a car with a guy who doesn’t have a traditional high street garage. However he’s the genuine article. Thanks.

Vehicle entered Vero’s workshop driving on its own power , 1 month and £900 later , it left on a transporter . Guy is personable but guesses part replacement . Mercedes 123, a fairly simple automobile .
Vero was very professional and did a fantastic job. I had a braking issue and not only were my rear rotors and pads replaced, I noticed all the brake linkages had been lubricated as well. A proper job. Many thanks.
