I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service at this Superdrug. The staff are consistently unwelcoming and seem completely uninterested in helping customers. They always look miserable and would rather chat to each other through their headsets than actually serve the people standing in front of them. My partner recently visited and was called a liar when asking for a product that showed as in stock both online and in store. Instead of helping, staff were rude and dismissive, and accused him of making it up until a manager stepped in and located the product right away. The behaviour from the staff before that point was shocking. As someone who works in retail, Iām genuinely disgusted by the lack of customer care here. The attitude and disrespect from the team is unacceptable. This experience has definitely put me off shopping at this branch again.

I usually don't have an issue with this store or pharmacy but last week I went to the superdrug inside the Derbion to get some pain relief for women's issues that I have been living with for the best part of 18 years and that I am seeing specialists for. This time however, I was treated like an addict and interrogated. The woman on the checkout of the pharmacy decides to interrogate me about why I'm buying it what treatment I have had from the specialists (none yet because I'm on a waiting list like everyone else who uses the NHS) It wasn't done discreetly either, other customers who had just been served before me were still in the vicinity and could hear the conversation and heard about my medical issues too. So much for confidentiality! She claimed that she had seen me purchase this pain relief before but admitted that she had not seen me for a while (so why are you interrogating me??) the last time I had purchased this particular pain relief was at the end of February - the beginning of March according to my bank statement, it's now the end of May. If I was buying this medication everyday I would understand the intervention but I'm not! And even if I was taking it every day, this sort of conversation should have been private. I feel like I was picked on because I don't particularly look well and because I have a tremor, both of these things I am seeing a neurologist for and they aren't drug related, not that it's anyone's business! I chose superdrug because I felt safe and treated fairly but now I'm not. I'm still angry and embarrassed about this interaction. I shouldn't feel attacked about the way I look or the issues I have, nor should I be embarrassed about buying a medication that I have a justified reason to take. I won't be shopping at this store anymore and I will just go to boots, yes it costs more but at least I am treated with dignity there.

I was helped by a lovely lady called Liv today. She advised me on a lovely shimmer body oil. There were none available on the shop floor so she nipped into the back to have a look and came out with one. Nothing was too much trouble. The lady on the till who I am assuming was the manager was also super lovely. Not very often shop assistants go into the back to have a look for products, Liv when above and beyond. Thank you x

Superdrug's own brand brings value for money. I've used their products for years the beauty products cover all ages . They're all cruelty free approved by the Various organizations who promote cruelty free. My particular favourite is the hair colour range . You can't beat quality I believe.
