Best surgery I have ever had looking after me. I have had many. They chase me for appointments and place me on new programmes. Kind, patient and caring

A Misuse of Public Funds Doctors often speculate on the cause of symptoms without conducting any proper examination, leaving patients to try multiple medications resulting in wasted time and money, with no tangible outcomes. In some cases, we are simply told that it is a “training day” and are sent back to the pharmacy without any assistance. At this point, I am inclined to support the dissolution of the NHS, as we contribute significant amounts each month, yet still find ourselves forced to seek care in private clinics!

If I could give this place 0* I would. I have been with this surgery for 28 years and the service has definitely declined a lot over the last few years. I put in a prescription and they will complete a couple of items and then leave other items. This then leads me having to ring the surgery everyday to the point where I end up just taking in another prescription for the items ignored and they are then completed within an hour - I shouldn’t have to be doing this for doctors to do their job properly! Care navigators are extremely rude (minus 1 or 2 who are really helpful) they are not helpful at all, put the phone down before you are finished. I don’t even want to start on this subject but it needs to be addressed, I recieve a text after having bloods taken to book an urgent appointment, I ring up 8am for a RECEPTIONIST to tell me my bloods are fine and she will book me an appointment for 2 weeks time, for me to attend the appointment and be referred to haematology doctors because something major is wrong with my bloods. This isn’t the first time I’ve had receptionists tell me my blood results are fine when they aren’t. Why are you allowing receptionists 1) disclose blood results over the phone (when wrong may I add) 2) refuse an urgent appointment which you have been asked to book. I could write a lot more but funnily enough I need to get on the phone to them regarding my half complete prescription AGAIN. Sort your surgery out weavers

Below is a complaint I recently submitted to them on their website……. Where to start. In December my NHS app stopped allowing me to order a repeat prescription, this is fine but did not get through on the phone for around an hour, when I did I was met with dismissive and combative answers and told to email in order to reactivate my NHS app. I sent an email and received no response so I had to go into Mawsley Surgery to question it. The staff in Mawsley perfectly friendly and helpful told me that my prescription had been put through and the app would work in future….. it didn’t. Whilst there I was told I needed a blood test as my prescription is for high cholesterol so I booked an appointment but I will come back to this later. So the following month I send anither email (my tablets had now ran out) asking why the NHS app still didn’t work and again received no response but again somebody put the prescription through without telling me? I attended the blood test and received the results on my NHS app. Thinking I must be mistaken I contacted you by phone again for test results, the prerecorded message stated to call after 2pm which I did, the prerecorded message then stated I was number one in the queue which is strange because I was on the phone waiting for 45 minutes? So again I go into Mawsley Surgery which is a joy to do when this should all be so simple (and was this simple before weavers took over). Anyway it turns out I wasn’t even tested for my cholesterol level? That’s all I went in for! Instead I was tested for other issues? Again I found out my prescription had been put through and my NHS app will work again next month (believe that when I see it) and all I had to do was go completely out of my way again, I foresee myself having to go to the surgery every month because of this terrible service. Although I sound frustrated in this email even a little rude, I am not rude directly to staff. As I said earlier the staff at Mawsley are perfectly friendly, when I make a call though there seems to be a toxic culture where staff are dismissive, combative, and short with people. I can’t believe I am the only person to report this.

I have been with this practice for over twenty years. There was a time i used to think it was the most amazing Doctors on earth. The problem is now when you call even dead on 08.00 you get put in a queue. This is with an automated answering machine saying your position is over 30. You then wait an hour and a half for someone to answer just to be told there is no appointments. I wish this Doctors would get back to being amazing again. I used to have the sort of relationship where I took a box of chocolates every year as they treated you with warmth. Now they "just" see you as a patient.

Very 1st time using this doctors very impressed helpful polite. As not been before had no idea where I was going and made a few mistakes along the way but every one in the building where so helpful. Entrance is around the back of the building and weavers repcetion is the middle one, then if going up stairs reception is on the left. Thank you to all that helped me
